I am experienced in yoga, but as I get older, I need to adapt in some areas of my body. You did a great job explaining how to do so. I agree with others, however, that the volume needs to be louder. I do appreciate your sweet voice, though.

Yes some of our videos are a bit hard to hear, using a desk top computer helps since you can raise the volume not only on your device but also on KZbin itself, but hopefully all volume issues on our end are fixed for any new videos coming out : ) Peace ~Kim

I'm 64 and recently retired - so stiff from spending a lifetime of sitting at a desk. This is one of the best videos I've discovered so far, being able to follow along and yet left lots of room for improvement. I could actually feel the difference at the end of the session! Thank you

The best online yoga instructor because she doesn’t talk about things not pertaining to the class, I have finally found someone that reminds me of the yoga instructors I had prior to covid. Thank you! 🙏

I'm 66 and hadn't done any yoga in more than 4-5 years, but this was absolutely perfect! I feel so good after my first session and am looking forward to continuing on a regular basis. One bit of advice for others would be to watch the video entirely before actually doing it the first time so that you are aware of the positions and not straining to look at the screen while trying to participate.

I attend yoga weekly but this fills the gap beautifully. I am 70 and so the pace is perfect. A beautiful soothing voice. Thank you

I have moved up to more videos. I am the one with moderate to severe RA. You have changed my total outlook on things. This really helps me get exercise and feel better about myself. I am able to move a lot better. Thank you!!!

Love this class,especially the way you integrate continual breathing reminders so seamlessly into the flow. So often beginners forget to breathe. Thank you for a great beginner class. I am 71.

I’m 74 and used to Pilates at the Y2 times a week before he retired. To improve my golf game I decided I would start yoga last year in and added Pilates recently. It’s great to get back to this type of exercise as it does exceptional work on the core and the whole body will help me in life and hopefully help me play golf for many many years to come

First rate instruction, easy to understand and follow as a beginner. I enjoyed the selection of poses and delicious stretches, and feel fantastic after the session. I'll be doing this workout again and again. Thank you!!

At 72 and just starting yoga I found this lesson great. My only quibble is that going from downward dog to the standing pose is leaps and bounds past what I am (and probably ever will be) capable of. I just stood and then went down forward as far as I could and then continued along.

Many thanks for this. Your voice and manner is so relaxing and soothing. I'm doing this every day - super-tight hamstrings are such a hindrance though. Would love to attend class but I'm in the UK, this is next best thing, great tutorial, so kind of you to share.

Enjoyed this video & thank you for it. Especially loved your instructions but agree volume too low. Iwould love to see a repeat of the sequence without instructions for when I know it well enough and can have a routine & save time! But thank you for sharing!

Yes, yoga is very beneficial for hypertension, however be very mindful while practicing and omit any poses that don’t feel right for you. ☺️✨Kim

A very valuable session - only, is there any way your volume (voice) can be louder? A few of the other Ocean Vayu videos too, the volume is very low. I've checked if it is an issue with my laptop, but no...

Thanks for your feedback, 🙂 yes we are working on fixing the volume and hope to have it figured out! One thing to be sure of is that the volume on KZbin is all the way up as well as your devices volume, KZbin has it's own volume levels (something I had no idea of until we started making these videos) It's found just below the video you are watching on the left hand side of screen. Good morning Kim. I am a subscriber and new to yoga. I am a 71-year-old male and I have an artificial heart valve. I have gained a considerable amount of weight over the past few years. I was my deceased wife's caregiver for that time. I could not get out to do much because she could not fend for herself so I was charged with all the housework and her care. I am trying to get myself back into some kind of shape I weigh 208#and my ideal weight is more like 150#. I'd like to get some suggestions on poses that will help to increase my strength and help lower my body weight. I do diet. I am on a 16-hour fast every day, where I eat during the remaining 8 hours in the day only 2 very light meals. I am also interested in finding out how long I should exercise every day. The 15 to 30 min programs are a good start. However, I believe that I can go longer. Also, I like to break up my training into two segments one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I live in FL and right now I can't get out to walk very much because of the heat and humidity. In cooler weather, I will walk an average of 4 to 4 1/2 miles every day, and do some sort of calisthenics throughout the day. However, I'm not seeing any change in my weight nor my physical shape. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi there! It sounds like you know instinctively what you need to do to care for yourself, I’d suggest just a little help from a local yoga studio or local gym. This way you could get some advise first hand from someone who can work with you directly. Otherwise you are on the right path, from here, just increase your workouts/yoga as you feel comfortable doing so. An hour to an hour and a half 5 to 6 days a week is ideal, but may take time working up to. Good luck, and take care! ☺️✨Kim

Hi, If you are moving the fleshy part of the bottom you are not sitting on your sit bones. Ideally the one should sit on the sit bones which is the fleshy part.

Hi, thanks for your feedback! This class was designed for beginners who need a lot of direction so they do not feel or get lost. Classes with not a lot of cuing are better for more experienced students. Perhaps you are more experienced ? Thanks :) ~Kim
