@@Splendid.blended It's not possible to mix forge and fabric, you have to choose one or the other. But thankfully the majority of mods in this list are available for both mod loaders

A video by Ksauce is the one you want to watch. Just remember, download anything at your own risk. This is just the video I’ve watched, but I haven't tested it yet.

As someone who’s found enjoyment in vanilla for 10+ years, sound physics remastered is an absolute must have and adds so much to the experience. Hearing zombies and spiders echo in the ravine below is terrifying. I love punching a mob off a tall underground cliff and hearing their death sound from 50+ blocks down. Everything about that mod I like.

A little note on better combat is that it's a bit deceptive unless they've changed it It doesn't have precise weapon collision is just makes the hitbox super big so you can't really miss

A nice mod if you want a variety of unique or vanilla mobs would be Alex's Mobs, it adds so much to modded survival and so many great animals/mobs! It's not for everyone, but in my opinion, it's the best creatures/animals mod pack. Great video tho and I love your style of content.

Fresh Animations is one of those things i wish was just in the vanilla game. come on Mojang, put it in, add an option in settings to disable it for oldschool fans, and boom, perfection.

When I saw it on other mod lists, I had the same feeling, but this one mentioned how they’ve literally been repurposed for other mobs- end cities become villages in the overworld, piglins get villages in the nether- and I do like that. As a lore junkie, I do like the implication that the same group of people traveled to all these dimensions and left similar structures. Not sure if it’s interesting enough for me to add to my own modpack (Yung’s Better series sounds like a better option atm), but I appreciate this video for giving a slightly deeper overview on its features.

Vanilla textures and complementary shaders. I tweaked a good portion of the shader settings (increased overworld saturation, enabled generated normals, etc). Forge and fabric are mod loaders, there are others but these two are the popular ones. Bedrock has next to no mods available, not nearly as much as Java. If you want to use mods you will have to see what mod loader they support and download/install it. On curseforge, you can see supported mod loaders in the file section of a mod's page. I recommend searching tutorial videos to help you out with this

I'm sorry that's not possible. The versions have to match, you could maybe get away with mixing subversions like 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, etc. Resource packs and shader packs will *most* likely work across versions though
