@ht666th have you seen how much torque tom nelson's motor make at like 2000 to 3000 rpm. check out the numbers they make. the torque curves of his motors are relatively flat. even if he dropped to 1000 hp at 6 psi or something, his torque is still like 1500 nm, and at 2000 rpm its probably 800 ft-lb or close to 1100 nm. thats a shit load of torque man

i new a guy with a nelson small block, i was shocked when i noticed they(nelsonracing) used head bolts in a boosted engine...eventually had to fix that part. good looking engine though.

its not the horsepower thats the problem dude, its the torque. yer it may be set at 1000 hp, but the toqrue will be around 1500-1600 nm. at 2000 hp this car makes close to 3000 nm of torque. if he floored this car at 3000 nm of torque in first gear, he no doubt wouldnt have any control with the tyres he is using.

Love it! But even with all 2000 HP i think my 87 fox body stang could eat it. It pulls high 6s. I believe my best was like 6.88 with like a 0.48 reaction time. Having trouble keeping her str8 but i put money longer than extension cords into it.

I love the products, but I hate the re-power PONTIAC cars. I understand that PMD has been dead for a while, but aftermarket PONTIAC engines are being made, rather then rehash the LS engine over and over why not take some of that skill and build an aftermarket PONTIAC engine? When I got into PMD in the 90s we didn't have anything, it's not true now. No Chevy belongs in a PONTIAC like this! Ed Cole can SUCK IT!

You can get a built Pontiac engine to around 2500HP and 2000lb torque, with o-ringed heads. They won't hold any more cylinder pressure without blowing out the head gaskets.
