What an amazing temperament Klaus has. I can't believe he was so calm the whole time. You really struck lucky with him because it bodes well for his future training, I can see. Seeing those beautiful Cornish fields made me feel homesick for Devon.

Thank you for including us. The Dog Daddy talked about making his dogs so well trained that they are comfortable wherever they are and with whatever people. Someone mentioned how calm Klaus was, even with a completely changing environment. Since he was used to a field, that was nice you were able to get him green grazing as you traveled. Haven't heard how old he is yet, if he is at his full growth, etc. From the overhead picture, it looks like he has pretty action.

So happy to see your videos again, when I finally got my own horses some five years ago you were my inspiration to ride and be with my horses in a completely different way as to what I was taught back in the eighties. Klaus is a stunner, and clearly has inherited a level head from his Friesian and Comtois lines, it seems that the Comtois/Friesian combo often give silver dapples.

Emma, what a change of scenery, selling your house of 18 years and traveling by boat to France to get handsome Klaus! Did he ever sleep laying down during long trailer rides❤🎉?
@Emmassingale4 күн бұрын
Hi there, no horses only need about 2hrs sleep and they don’t even need to lay down for that so he would naturally choose to sleep in the stable on the softer bed or the field 🥰 best wishes Emx

@Emmassingale saw you spreading all that fine sawdust or bedding type of floor, so thought Klaus feeling safe in the trailer might try out the flooring👋

@pixie7064 күн бұрын
Didn't you quarantine the new horse ?
@Emmassingale4 күн бұрын
No because I have a closed herd and he came directly from the stud who also don’t have outside horses in. Plus he had been recovering from being gelded with one other horse for the previous 3 weeks so there wasn’t any need!
