Ah, my first race in person! it was 2 days after my birthday and had just turned 7 years old. the weather was perfect, the stands were packed, the racing was awesome, the pepsi was ice cold, the racers raced eachother to win, and NASCAR was NASCAR. Man, such vivid memories! thanks for the upload man

I know this is a 6 year old comment but this was my first race too, I was 7 almost 8. You remember they passed out free Wild Cherry Pepsi and BBQ frito twists at the end of the race? lol

As a big Sterling Marlin fan, this race pains me to re-watch even 10 years later. This was one of his last chances to really snag a win in the Sprint/Nextel/Winston Cup series.

pain and it feel dissapointed even shown up the Cingular wireless survey its says "no". man he'd led most lap, and that silver bullet as u see they got a strong fast. it was my 1st time watch this 03 michigan and i xpecting Dodge have chance can caught 2nd win on the 1st half of 2003 season. i dont think why he lost momentum and it almost there get chance to win.

This race was the same weekend of Ford's 100 Years Centennial Celebration (If you look closely, on the firesuits of Roush/Yates drivers from 2003, it said Ford: 100 Years) and how fitting that a Ford driver in Roush country was able to get the win.

My Dad and I were at this race , remember when the 12 went up in smoke down the backstretch. Oil pan was too low and drug the race track in the turns.

i dont thnk but i thnk that Alltel Dodge does have much more tape on grill reason why cause of serious blown engine. as u see hes got more aero push and so fast. too much rpms, too much pressure = blown up. Ryan's rocket explosion lol😁✌

Ricky Rudd just didn't look right in Wood Brothers Motorcraft. He goes from maybe the most badass NASCAR ever- red and black Havoline #28- to a car/team I didn't think was a good fit for him.
