2005 Super GT Rd4 Sugo Onboardard

I have a question : Takata dome NSX reaching around 7500 rpm at Okayama and here, it's reaching 9000 rpm probably more like the NSX of seasons 2007-2009. Did Honda changed engine of its cars during the 2005 season ?

+Neko Taisen Honda dropped the uncompetitive twin turbo engine in favour of a normally aspirated one from Sugo onwards. (ARTA actually got the new engine at round 3).
