Handling wise on the my polo was surprisingly good for high speed stability despite the skinny 165 tires

I swapped a 2004 Punto 1.2 litre (80K) for a basic 2007 Polo 9N3 1.2 litre (60K) and did miss the Fiat's willing 'oomph' at first, though with time I learned to coax a bit more go out of the Polo, which is much better built, though less fun. The Fiat had fully adjustable seats, where the Polo is stuck at one height -- a big minus. My partner's 2017 BlueMotion Polo 4dr 1.0 litre has upped the performance a lot and has many more toys than the 9N3, being much quieter too. It's an ideal small car IMHO.

Polos are good cars just found mine too boring with the 1.4 diesel. I would pick a bus pass over corsa so not a fair comparison lol
