This is a fully armored WK with a 4" Superlift, all 4X Guard armor, dual interior snorkles, HEMI Superchips, Controller made just to beat the snot out of. We are testing the watertight integrity of the snorkles at the time. The water is VERY COLD, so cold eventually I could not feel the hitch/wire plug in and my friend had to help me plug it in. I would not have gotten stuck except my Jeep floated and the wheels were not fully on the mud/ground. Since this video,
was filmed the carpets are gone, it has a Rhino interior and 2 500 GPH bilge pumps for 1000 GHP pumping so more than enough to pump water out as it only enteres in through the doors. This also uses the 4XGuard portable cradle. with a WARN M8000 that functioned 100% perfectly after sitting under water for 15 minutes (video is edited). All compjuters have now been sealed, relocated and the only way she will die is a fire-lol. This has been driven in the Delaware River already and I am working on a water crossing propulsion system with prop and flotation so she can cross anywhere as we have a lot of water in our area and this Jeep may end up in Thailand where I stay to wheel and drive around.

Don't hate he's obviously put a lot of love into that jeep prolly more love and time than many of you ever have to your vehicles. I'm currently working on an all terrain vehicle. Little bit of everything. Nothing too extreme lol

I just watched your video. I have a rear mounted winch as well. If I ever get as adventurous as you, I will make sure it is mounted ahead of time. I keep it in the cargo area like you do, however the fact that you were able to hook it up under the water and do a self recovery is pretty amazing. Well done.

Thank you Tadd! I use the receiver hitch with a Warn cable system on it for fast plug in. I also contacted Warn as to what winch to purchase as I used an 8000 Warn then went with a higher end 9500 Warn later. Truck ran for years, sold it late last year. Had so much fun with it and I did a lot of mods on it, most hidden to allow me to do water runs like this. My other videos have some of the detailed mods listed. Have fun!

@@2000ViperGTSsubscribe I live in Florida in the city at the moment, but moving out to the country. I most likely won't be crossing anything as near as deep as you did, but during hurricane season you just never know how much water you're going to need to cross to get to dry land. I would love the 5.7 but at the same time need the economy of the 3.7. I really appreciate you giving me your input & advise for this vehicle. So after all that the electrical system was fine? Like having fun? This is what I do-have fun and a LOT of it. My Jeep now has a lot better self cleaning mud tires, a submersible 9500 Warn XTI industrial winch, waterproofed some things I did not know about and never had a problem since. My snorkels held up fine and I can drive UNDER WATER now and I would put my WK up against any WK on mixed terrain and been wheeling with the best and I can outperform most rigs out there and it is also unique to boot. So many haters on here for me having FUN!

Thanks for the information about the snorkel , However I'm fully aware of this . Ok Snorkel provides air to the engine what about all other Vital components ? . like the Air filter , Ignition , Abs , Box Fuse , Esp , Radio , Satnav , Fuel Tank Electric windows , Electric fuel pump, Injectors , Ignition plugs , Starter motor . You cant water proof all , The notion a snorkel will keep the car in running condition after a being deep mud waters is ridicules.

A lot of water proofing like double bags on the body control module, dielectric grease on every fitting, relocated and extended vents and had water OVER my dash already but everything is fine. I had my Jeep apart many times, and into electronics having built even my own radios as a kid so made this to take serious water bogging which is common for my area.

What off roader would not love to drive their rig into a small lake and see if they could not go through it? Then remod, wheel, repeat all while having a ton of fun. I am not hurting anyone, leaving trash out here and I am the first one to help anyone I wheel with and enjoy the heck out of wheeling. So it is cool to be a mall cruiser and not use it? That takes "gold balls" to do that one. Went through that with my Honda 450ES. I remember my buddy saying, "doesn't mean it will go everywhere"....my wj is lifted and locked w/4:56...I couldn't bring myself to do that bro. Hat off to yah. Oh, I am a big puss about keeping my gear dry....could mean life or death. Thanks for being man enough to show your "failure?"....Takes a man to admit to it. Best regards...

The issue with that is that it will hurt the winch getting submerged in water as I go through and I have been through this place before so I opted not to install it :-)

They were his kids, we actually were all happy as my snorkels all held to be watertight and that was the purpose of the video

It was a stock winch and they will run under water for a bit, but will die fast if you run it like that. Mine ran for 2 years running and now it is dead but replaced with a much better Warn industrial strength unit that is over double the cost of a normal winch.
