@@SBRtheHero I had to have them reprogramed for my 2012 Avenger but yes they did work, apparently the issue was a security system issue since I had removed the battery and that caused the system to lock up.

Can you help me open the trunk of my 2008avenger? It wont open with the remote neither the button in the car but there is no key to open it manually

You would have to lower the backseat and climb into the trunk and there will be a latch to release the trunk if the buttons are not working. It could be the latch or the switch that is not communicating. When you press the button to open the trunk do you hear any sounds? If you do, you may need to replace the latch. If you don't then it might be the fuse box. Let us know if this helped.

Turn key to on position and get the trigger wire from starter and tap it on the battery pole of the battery and it should start......your computer probably lost it memory to start the vehicle so that a bypass from the security. You need to reprogram your key to your computer, if u don't want to do the bypass.

The battery in the remote has NO influence on the immobilizer. The battery is only for locking and unlocking, NOT needed for starting vehicle.
