This video is a break down of the replacement process of the EGR valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit A High ). I also give a glance at the location of the oil pressure sensor, which is located in the same general area. As far as the diagnosing process there wasn't much that indicated that I had an issue. In fact this vehicle had several codes and none of them gave a definite sign of trouble outside of the check engine light. I could hear a slight hesitation in some test runs, but nothing solid. It's a pretty strong running vehicle and it wasn't until I changed some other parts, that I noticed a difference. This job was a fairly easy job. The most complicated part of the job was accessing the bolts, but with a few runs through the tool box I found my perfect partner tools. I wanted to use power tools the whole way through but the space didn't allow. But manual tools did just find, took a little more time, but the job was low stress. I hope this video helps out, comment if you have any question. Peace! Also when dealing with the oil pressure sensor switch, which is located right under the EGR. All you’ll need is that oil pressure sensor socket. I stress don’t use a the standard socket that fits over, because it may get the old one off. But most times it wont tighten the new one down. Especially if you’re using aftermarket parts.
