This guy doing the video is the kind of guy any (all actually) customers like to deal with. He’s straight forward and “brutally honest”. I’m considering buying a bike for only the 2nd time in my life. It’s been 36 years since I’ve owned a bike. I’ve watched several of his vids and have been very impressed with the info he always projects abt the bike he’s demo’ing. Ive gained a lot of inside abt the different bikes I’m considering just from watching his vids. I don’t remember his name, I think it’s Shaun (not important) but I wanted extend a big “thank you” to him for his vids and his “brutal honesty”.

I have to tell you that I really love and appreciate your videos when you ride the Yamaha 1100 v-star. Every time i miss Mike Bike I watch your videos. So thank you so much!!

These V Star 1100s are awesome bikes. I had a 2000 V Star 1100 and I loved that bike. My Dad has a 1985 Harley 1340cc and the V Star out performed that Harley. He could not never pull away from me. And my old V Star would hold the road better too in a windy day. Dad would get blown into the center lane and my V Star wouldn't move a bit. I'm a Yamaha fan along with a Victory fan.

I haven’t looked for the rotors at all, the plastic aesthetic jug caps that clip on the engine looks slightly different. I’ve always been able to tell the 650 from the 1100 that way. I never thought of the brakes though, I only bought the 1100 because I had a virago 750 and it had dual front disc brakes and I liked it a lot sounded great, Honestly I think this is the star is one of the best motorcycles I’ve ever had. Throw a cam kit and an exhaust on these bikes as well as a pod air kit and this thing it just stomps on bikes that are worth much much more. Never going to own a Harley

I’m about to buy one but has an odometer issue. Doesn’t keep accurate mileage accumulation. Any advice on replacing it?? Any info would be much appreciated!

maybe its because my 1100 has pipes and has been jetted, but the difference between my bike and my friends 650 is night and day, its not just a little more power its a lot more power.
