2008 Bullitt Mustang Stage One Upgrades COMPLETE!

This is a review of the stage one upgrades to my 4.6L 3-valve Bullitt Mustang GT. There is much more to come, including a dyno run, and stage two comp cams and valve springs. What a smart idea to upgrade the suspension and brakes FIRST. Now you can get used to doing some gymkhana stuff with the car to get the suspension set just right....but using the (more or less) stock engine with its lower power so you don't hurt yourself.

That’s right! The stock suspension on these cars is so sloppy too.. they should’ve come at least an inch lower from the factory.

Throw a set of hot rod cams in it. Will make good power and sound amazing. You did all the right mods to that car for sure. Looking forward to seeing more content on this thing!

Im currently running steeda upper control arm with maximum motorsports lca's and it handles pretty well. Did you notice better grip after installing the relocation brackets or was the rear suspension built all at once?

So I installed the LCA’s and the relocation brackets at the same time, which completely eliminated the wheel hop. I installed the upper control arm later when I got a one peice drive shaft so I could adjust pinion angle. The upper stiffened the rear end up even more.

Awesome! According to Brenspeed the HP doesn’t really matter, as long as you keep it around 450 torque. But my thoughts are that if you have high mileage, you should build the motor

@@ProjectBullitt I did not modify it and i have allready 390 torque... Checked it twice because I did not belive it 210 thousand km (130 thousand miles) So it is pretty used up ;d

I have an 08 Bullit and a "tune" should help you get some more horsepower. You will have to retune when you change the cams. Good luck.

Lower control arms from Steeda will solve that problem. If you are lowered you may want to think about relocation brackets, and the upper control arm helps too

My dad had the 2008 mustang bullit and was going to hand it down to me but sadly he crashed into a deer with it I'm 17 now and he had that car since I was 8 years old, it was black and had 2 small stripes on each side, crazy story when my dad had this mustang bullit my mom and dad had divorced and i spent the night with him at his house and he took me home in the mustang bullit the night later so it was dark out and he was driving me home in the mustang bullit and this dude in a truck started following us so my dad went really fast and he pulled up to one of his friends house and banged on the door and his friend came out with a AR and i seen brass knuckles on this dudes table I was peaking out the windows and the dude pulled up and he a AR pointed at him and my dad was on the phone with the cops and his friend shot his AR up in there air and the cops said shots fired and my dad said that his friend was just shooting the gun up in the air well 5 cops came and it turns out the dude that was following us was drunk and he got arrested you could see the police lights bouncing off the tress and it acutely too like 3 or 4 mins for the dude to pull up he was speeding at my dad for some reason
