2009 ACURA RDX MODE DOOR ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT

In this video I demonstrate how to replace the mode actuator on you Acura RDX is all the same from 2007 to 2012. Hope this helps.

ive been looking everywhere for a parts number on the mode actuator. no luck

same Edit: I found a replacement online. I got it from Amazon: 79140-SNA-A01, 604-879, mine was from a brand called tepeng. Although I believe it just uses a Dorman 604-879, but comes with the appropriate mounting bracket. It was labeled as a “heater blend door actuator” compatible with various Honda Civics. But the are the exact same part for my 2010 RDX mode control motor. I couldn’t switch from vent/floor/defrost, but now I can. Thanks to the video maker here, it was nice to see things before hand and confirm steps taken during the replacement.

Tough install battle any room .. but got it installed finally. But now my battery just died don’t know if it’s related tongue module. I doubt it is
