Just did my wheel bearings on my 2010 Mazda BT-50 UN, same as a PJ/PK Ranger here in Australia. I had to belt the hub about 15 times with a 32mm socket on the back with sledge hammer before it finally started to come out of the steering knuckle! Great video though mate, helped give me the confidence to attempt this job myself. I did take the knuckles to a suspension shop to have the bearing pressed out and the bearing inner races removed from the hubs though.

Hi Baz Are these bearings sealed? A local garage recommended re-packing the existing bearing with grease, but looks like that bearing is a single sealed unit? Cheers Dave

Hi, i have the same problem that after fitting the seal and tightening the hub nut the bearing will not spin. How did you sort this? Fitting a new seal? Thank you

@@antoninsvoboda1809 Same here, it took me about 15 whacks with a 32mm socket on the back of the hub for it to finally start moving! That was in there bloody tight. Mazdas BT50 UN 4x4, here in Australia

Customer says "How Much!, just to do a wheel bearing". Then you see what's involved! Bargain.

@bazmeredith are these bearings sealed? A garage told me to re-pack the other side bearing after the drivers side one failed and they replaced. But looks like these are a sealed unit? Cheers Dave
