true. the 06-10 are really nice vehicles. I just bought an 07 a week ago. surprized at how nice they are built. frame is beef, suspension is nice. mustang wheels fit like a glove.

Brenspeed says the stock bottom end can reliably put down 450tq to the wheels. I'd say there's plenty of room for improvement with this truck.

130 whp its huge upgrade, maybe 180+ hp at the crank if not mistaken, and this just supercharger, you can make much more with cams, heads and exhaust....you can get up to 500 or more whp!

The 4.0 is a better motor my sport trac has the 4.0 motor has always ran awesome but I can’t say that about the transmission and driveshaft the 2 things I think Ford should be ashamed of putting in thees vehicles consorting they cost so much to be serviced ho I guess I did leave out the defrost vents issue that For Explorers have on most every one. But other than that they are the best looking truck Ford has ever made. I seen they have a new maverick coming out that is a bit smaller but resembles the sport trac a hole lot.

I had a 1st gen, now a 2nd gen 4.6 limited mod, so no all wheel drive like adriline all the time, i choose when to put it in all wheel, no comparison to the 4.0l at All.
