The Jeep Grand Cherokee is the MOST awarded SUV EVER! Today, I borrowed this 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from a friend here in [Allentown, PA] to show you why that may be. After that, I will show you some of my favorite features, take it for a drive and give you some driving impressions, and in the end, I will point out some of the things you should LOOK for if you’re planning on buying one.

The Grand Cherokee Overland is the epitome of luxury and capability, offering a premium driving experience both, ON and OFF-road. Built in Detroit, the 4th gen Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in the following trims: Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Sterling Edition, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, SRT models, and the incredible trackhawk.

There are several recalls for these vehicles, but here are two that I think are super important:
Parking malfunction - In April 2016, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) ordered a recall of 2014 and 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokees, which use an electronic gear shifter, because it sometimes does not go into (or does not remain in) the park position. People have reported that they put the car in park and left the engine running, but PARK was not engaged and the car rolled away under its own power.
Braking system
There are multiple recalls concerning the braking system. One indicates that “water inside could freeze and limit the braking ability of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash”. Another states that “If the brake booster shield was not installed properly, the vehicle's braking ability may be reduced, increasing the risk of a crash.”

I have the so-called most unreliable year, which is the 2011 and the 3.6. It’s probably been the most reliable vehicle I’ve ever had original engine original transmission one brake booster 384,000 miles. I still drive it every day.

A $50k Jeep grand cherokee is a total rip off when new, but it can be had after a few years for about $16k, even the luxury trims like Limited and Overland models. At that point, it becomes a good used car deal. Avoid the air suspension, but you can apply a “delete” kit (switching to traditional struts) for about $2k. Do not go to a dealership! They are desperate to find ways to get money out of you in the service shop, because they are hurting on sales side at selling these cars. Do not top off gasoline after the pump stops. The system is sensitive if you overfilled.

You sound quit biased, or your just reading from a script. Jeep hasn't upgraded there infotainment system in years, its actually one of the oldest in the market

Completely wrong. It has been updated a few times even during this generation. They even added Car Play and Android Auto in the 2017 model year.

someone advertised a 2011 for parts, due to quad lift suspension repair costing more than it was worth. I researched, this is a huge problem and very expensive, Jeep silently stopped producing this feature, beware.

No they absolutely have not stopped producing the air suspension.

@@jv8296 info seems to suggest otherwise "Jeep discontinued the Quadra-Lift air suspension system from the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee". I was about to buy a 2011 JGC with suspension problems, I looked into it, just like battery EV's, cost more than the vehicle was worth and would likely fail again soon.
