Which wire? I wished you would have shown more on the tipm plug

I had the same issue. A mouse problem. My turn signals, headlights and 4x4 were all effected.

Iv run into a few of these with pin fitment issues (hotdog down hallway). I have also repaired a few TIPM that had corroded pins. Just run wire where pin goes inside TIPM

Successful mission again JC. Somebody will be interested in that camper, looks like it's got a lot of life left in it. Glad you didn't have to bite the bullet and replace the TIPM! Have a fun and safe 4th with your family and friends!

JC. 🆘. Help please. Can u show which pin u put the wire into to check turn signal. Thank you. I know the video is old. Just throwing a hail mary

Thank You for Sharing, Very much Appreciated as I'm having same issue. It would be nice IF Only the Animal Attractant was left out of the wiring insulation mix, maybe add a bitter root blend to repel them critters.

Troubleshooting like this is stuff we learned as kids, in shop class and Vo-Tech in high school. Sadly, many people have no troubleshooting skills at all nowadays. See it every day at work, hard to find people that can do basic troubleshooting.

i know you commented on this a long time ago but idk how old you are, im 33 and by the time i got to middle school and high school they had done away with all that shop class stuff so i never got the chance to learn this kind of stuff, and unfortunately i went to vo-tech for welding. i can troubleshoot small things just from learning myself through trial and error like a mower and atv's but not a truck to much new tech packed into all these new vehicles! LOL

@@chopsfisher1622 Most school systems have done away with classes that teach trades and mechanical skills. It’s a shame. The people running things think everyone will go to college or the military instead of working with their hands.

My 03 dodge fried a tipm after booking up a friends trailer. I lost the passenger side turns and tails on the truck only. Never did get it fixed because apparently you have t9 go to the dealer to ave them reprogram a new one after install. And I hate dealers. On my 2013 ram, I swapped the 68rfe trans for a g56 6 speed. You wanna talk about crazy wiring. The can bus system in these trucks are crazy. Mine is a Laramie so it has the fancy touch screen stereo. Took a lot of doing to get my backup camera to work again.

03-04 didn't have tipm supposedly. I have an early 04. It has a fcm and a fuse box. It's supposed to be not as sensitive as the tipm. I think they started the tipm in 05 or 06. I haven't had any trouble yet with the trailers I've pulled but we'll see.

That's strange there is no power coming out of the connector for the flash

Crap! Mice! I literally just found a mouse nest in my glove box last week. No joke. I drive the truck every day. They collected the insulation on the firewall and made a nest. Little bastards were in the hvac too. Put a glue trap in and caught one. My biggest worry was them eating wiring in the dash. Seriously concerned with that. Reference my previous comment about canbus. Imagine mice in the dash eating up wires. Ugh

Anyway could tell me the color code on those wires. I’m having the same issue

I know you're selling it but towing a RV with a regular Fifth Wheel (Semi Type) is not a great idea as you lose to side to side pivot. This can cause extra torque on the Fifth Wheel's Pin Box. If you're only towing a short distance, you should be fine but you "might" do some damage on a longer tow. Now, I know years ago this is how ALL Fifth Wheel Hitches were made but we all know that over the years they have been making the frames on those trailers as cheap as possible. Great video on troubleshooting, thanks for showing it from beginning to end. It takes patience to troubleshoot, which most don't have. Thanks for all of the great videos and please keep the coming!

Every time I plug in a crap trailer harness I blow the fuse for the trailer lights. It's annoying and expensive for a fuse

replace the fuse with a circuit breaker.

Is that JAYCO made in Australia? Factory is near us in 1 Jayco Drive Dandenong Victoria Australia. Jayco caravans, (read trailers in USA), are a very common choice Down Under.
