It's an adjustable oil filter removal tool by Lisle you can find on Amazon. # 63600.

I have a 2012 fusion with 201,056 miles on it. Been using mobile 1 full synthetic since I bought it with 45,000 miles. Am I wasting my money, or should I go with regular 5 w 20?

You're not wasting your money. Keep using synthetic oil. Especially if you are doing 5 k Miles/8 k Kilometers intervals.

I just went for oil change mine is 2012 also sedan fusion they said they didn't have proper tool access to change filter something about not held by regular clamp he call it something like cremp crimp or whatever. I went to jiffy today.

2:22 what is The old gasket you're referring to at this time stamp? Do you mean the rubber seal around the oil filter? Like make sure it doesn't stick to the engine? AMAZING Video btw, made it look so easy!

Yes sir. The rubber gasket that's on the oil filter.

how much oil should i put in my fusion if it's a 3.0L V6?

It's 6 quarts roughly 5.7 liters. But check the oil level after that just to make sure it is at the full mark.

does it matter if you do the filter first or drain the oil first

No, it doesn't matter. But on other cars with cartridge oil filters that are on top of the engine they need to be opened or loosened first before draining the oil so the old oil can drain out. On spin-on filters like this one it won't matter, it's just by preference.

Upper mark, top one. Takes roughly 5.0 to 5.5 liters.

​@fandechavalones3022 I believe it's supposed to be the top hash mark. But the hole is very close to that so I doubt it would hurt the engine to have a tiny bit more oil in there.

If you are talking about the service covers where you drain the oil and filter, they come with the vehicle already.

You can, but also have at least one jack stand as well.
