Any brand info on the bearing splitter used for the final step of removing the inner bearing race? Will it fit in behind the bearing race without having to slide the race out a ittle bit?

I just did one. Same axle design. Without special tool. After axle on ground. Remove c clip. Hammer 4studs out with BRASS hammer to avoid damage. Backing plate was held on by studs. The rest can be removed at press.

You do not have to disconnect the brake line, just cut a slot in the bracket holding the brake line

Or disconnect line.. bleed just that wheel. Same effort.

@@johnargue2977 its much quicker just to grind a slot in that brake line support and slip the line through, no need to bleed

nope, has pads, they are disc brakes

the main brake is a disc, the parking brake is drum built into the center hat of the rotor and that's what you saw after removing the rotor that looked as if it was just a drum setup.
