for those that are curious, you don't have to go under the car like this guy says in the video to change the rear 02 sensor, it's right behind the engine, in the middle down on the exhaust pointing up, just make sure you have a long ratchet extension

Thank you for the information. I had this code at 120,000 miles. Considering my engine was never smoking, or lacking power. I didn't think my catalytic converter was bad. It was still getting good mileage, per gallon. I watched a Scotty Kilmer video, on how to check it with an exhaust back-pressure gauge. I changed the O2 sensor, and problem solved.

Part number for new 02 sensor??
@davidleekalbjr.30354 ай бұрын
@@ejrc314 Well... Turns out. The head gasket was broken. The mechanic told the warranty company, something that voided the warranty. After he took the engine apart. I had the car voluntarily repoed, because of mechanical malfunction. The lien holder, Chase bank. Took the car, sold it in an auction. For more than I owed, and less than the repair. It totally recked my credit. Even tho, the bank got out way better. A vehicle repossession really wrecks your credit.

Thanks Dad! I’ve replaced my PVC Valve about a year ago and it went away after that, rough idle, difficulty climbing hills, low speed, all fixed. Now it’s the same code, but, about two days ago it went away. I’m at about 88,000 miles, any thoughts.

My 2014 Cruze has 72,800 miles on it, and today my check engine light came on. I got a scan tool to it and this came up. Very disappointed, couldn’t even make it 100,000 miles without a major repair. I consider this a major repair because this is something that is more than just regular maintenance, and is expensive to replace. At my local autozone they showed me some ranging from 300$ all the way up to nearly 1000$! Also my coolant is leaking, and I have yet to find out where.
@benjaminzamora89973 жыл бұрын
Coolant leaking could be the water pump

i had the same issue. I replaced the reservoir plastic tank, did not fix the issue. I could see water on my driveway but did not know where it was coming from. Found the leak. Facing the car, the leak was on the radiator elbow, bottom left corner. That worked for a while and then I had to replace my water pump and timing belt.

The upstream and down stream oxygen sensors are exactly the same. They just plug into different areas of the car. So it doesn’t matter what the amazon link says it will fit in either upstream or downstream
