Is that so? Mine is doing the exact thing, I'm fighting the urge to just buy the module on ebay, guy pulls them from junkyards and resells them for 70 bucks

Great vid.. I have same issue 2013 petrol ST, my fan doesn't come on even with aircon on.. checked fuses and relays, fan works when hotwired, module changed for after market, only noticeable thing is the thin wire to inlet side of plug pushes out when plugged into module. More checks to do before biting the bullet for the oem fan assembly Inc module.

There is a mega fuse not in fuse box it's in front of battery between air filter housing

You kept saying the fan. Mine is a 2001 Focus and has 2 fans. I just straight wired my low-speed fan on all the time. Don't really need the high-speed fan.

Get a test light! Super cheap! Big culprit is the module itself. There’s also a 2 mega fuse (50amp) near the battery/junction box.

My RS does that, same code, changed everything besides the radiator.

Just got a focus st and also have the same issue p0480. Fan kick on sometimes and the car over heats when idling stopped

I’ve got same problem with ac working but not blowing when engine hot. Only difference it’s my gauge goes up half way and don’t move any more. Was that the case with this ford? I have change temp sensor and swap relay but that didn’t fix the problem. Thermostat must be ok cause pipes go from cold to hot instantly when engine gets up to temp Any thoughts?
