I’ve replaced the starter without pulling off manifold it’s 100% doable

This way looks so much simpler than other videos of removing the whole air intake box and hoses then squeezing and twisting the starter out and squeezing and twisting it back in. Snow or not, I'm getting my daughter-in-law's Dodge Journey running this weekend. Thanks a lot! 😁

You really don't have to removed the intake manifold.

I just changed the starter on a 2014 Avenger and your video was VERY helpful. Thanks for showing the world how its done right.

Great video. I'm working on 2011 200 today. Just the intake manifold gasket. I have an evap leak but no smoke machine so taking a shot in the dark. I never would have thought about accessing the starter this way. That is a great idea.

With this can I access to replace the oil pressure bulb?

I don’t know exactly where the oil pressure switch is but if is behind the intake it will be very easy

Great tutorial , any idea why the newer (I world) engines don’t have the intake manifold runner? The location for it is there but they weren’t installed and the wiring harness for it was never put in either

No idea but I noticed the same my only guess is that they kept the same design

I wish you’d spent just 2 seconds on the electrical clip attached to the intake with the little red clip
