Charlie gas has nothing to do with horsepower, or how fast your car goes. myth that’s already been busted
@titanfilmworks41014 жыл бұрын
@@tank0130 that's actually not true. If the vehicle is designed to operate at peak performance with a specific grade of fuel, then putting in a lesser grade will cause the computer to compensate and change things around. If your car is designed for 87 and you run 93, you're correct in that it wont do anything to increase hp or make it run better. The octane has to do with burn rate and what not. If you put 87 in a car designed to run 93, optimal performance will not be achieved.
@tank01304 жыл бұрын
Titan Filmworks yes, but usually cars that use higher octane gas aren’t your average car, like a camry or optima or something, usually that would be for sports cars. you are right, though.
@titanfilmworks41014 жыл бұрын
@@tank0130 you are correct in that MOST commuter vehicles use regular grade. So running 87 or whatever regular is in your area, would get you the peak hp. Running 93 in a commuter will do nothing for performance or MPG gain.

This is audibly not the Fusion Sport. The Fusion Sport will never spin its wheels like this due to it being AWD. This is simply the 2.0T running with premium fuel. There is a video somewhere on here of a 2.0T with a 93 octane computer mod vs a stock 2017 Fusion Sport. The 2.0 stayed in front of the Sport the entire race with ease and both cars were AWD This one being FWD is lighter than the AWD by well over 100-200 pounds which plays a pretty good factor in acceleration times after 40+ speeds Some AWD cars can rocket off of the line, but they have more power loss and they ultimately don’t gain speed as fast as a 2-wheel drive variant, which is why this IS the FWD 2.0T Fusion SE running 93 octane😋🚬💯🖤

Depends on where you live and the temperature makes a difference.
