2014 Nissan Frontier - How To Change Engine Oil

I have extra gaskets for the drain plug, this helps seal and enables a tight fit. My filter is hidden by the floor panel, two 8 mm nuts and the door flaps down. I got a filter tool I attach to my socket wrench but normally it's only hand tight

For this frontier v6 4.0 Full synthetic 5w30 and once you pass 60k use high mileage oil

Good question but Im not sure I haven't replaced ours ever. It's recommended to replace every time you change oil but idk why. 184k on the clock now and no leaks. So you can replace if you need to but I haven't needed to yet.

Oil at operating temp is best.... Crazy you removed the plug and didn't get a drop on you nicceee

I have the 06 Pathfinder with 111,000 I change the oil every 3000 miles, I was just wondering since u have high mileage,did you use convential oil, or full synthetic oil?

Great question! I'm using full seynthetic since day 1. Now we use full synthetic high mileage.
