When I was younger I thought the secret classic was an event hidden and unannounced, where they only invited certain gymnasts to perform and didn't tell the others... cause it was a secret.

Subtext of Simone’s interview : ‘Martha didn’t like me because I was happy and smiling and enjoying my time in the gym. She was mad she couldn’t break my spirit but when I won Worlds, she figured she could take some credit so she started sucking up.’ Basically.

She's so smart to keep a light heart and laugh all the time--it's counterproductive to be serious through all your work, not many people seem to get that. I mean the girl still laughs through everything and she's dominated the sport for years, people should learn from her.

Simone’s selfless attitude is the most endearing thing about her. She continues to be very genuine and not the least bit conceited, she is really a precious person, IMO.

Mykayla Skinner the new Sacramone?? What?!!!!!! Alicia was super powerful and super clean! Skinner has the power but she's too slopy!! She should try easier tumbling passes!
@kaylajones4356

She is becoming an Alicia, lets face it. She's cleaning up, and I believe she will be the next Sacramone by Worlds, if she does make the team
@maddilewis15
@maddilewis15 10 жыл бұрын
I agree about her execution/difficulty. It seems to me that Mykayla tends to go for really difficult skills that she can execute decently rather than slightly less difficult skills that she can perform more cleanly. She's definitely in the Alicia vein, but I think she needs to figure out a balance between difficulty and execution; then she'll really soar.

+Meg V. Although all these gymnasts are excellent I think it highly unlikely smith and flatley will make the rio team... Flatley was out most of 2015 with an injury and smith's routines are simply not difficult enough to offer any amazing contribution to team USA (in other the words where she excels USA has many equally as good gymnasts already) I think it should be interesting to see whether bailie raises her difficulty for the 2016 season and whether she will be seamed by Marta worthy considering she wasn't put on the team. I like these predictions and think next year should be interesting. My predictions would be; biles, Douglas, Hernandez, Nichols, and either (Aly, Kyla or bailie) or maybe they will take 3 all around era and the rest specialists

24:11 re: what man announcer says: no No NO! Simone the FRIEND. Cheerleaders cheer for boys who do sports then watch the boys get scholarships to college; women's sports have never had boys shaking pom-poms and cheering them on; god can you imagine, a male LOWERING himself to such a status, to cheer a woman on for sport? I would love to see that!!!!

Tim certainly called it on Laurie H- Olympic silver on beam and team gold! Wish the same story was true for Baillie Key, I wonder what ever became of her after 2016…

I've been listening to Tim Daggett as a commentator since the 90s (with Elfie) and I never considered him annoying. However after reading these comments here and watching the broadcast I'm like damn, you guys are right, he's annoying as hell.

Dude, same! Been watching gymnastics since 1991 and it wasnt until reading comments from actual gymnasts that I could see..... "damn. He sucks." 😂😂😂😂
