Each BBK Full length header system is CAD designed and manufactured with 1 3/4" or 1 7/8” CNC mandrel bent tubing for nonrestrictive airflow. ALL BBK exhaust headers are pressure tested to ensure a leak free performance. The BBK full length headers are available in either a chrome or ceramic coated finishes; or a high quality, 304 stainless steel version. They are made right here in the USA and will include gaskets, hardware, and o2 extensions.
Pair your new BBK long tube headers with a BBK off-road or catted mid-pipe. The BBK mid-pipes are needed when installing their headers. Each mid-pipe is manufactured from 3", aluminized steel, and is made in the USA.

I added the BBK ceramic long tube headers with the BBK cat mid pipes and the Corsa extreme exhaust with a Injen closed closed intake after dyno and tune all it did was 404hp peak...figured it would of added more...

Is there any other option for the mid pipe? They are very expensive for the bbk ones and my h pipe is 3 inch anyways so it won’t fit. What my best plan of action here. Help!!!!

+James with your car being close to brand new it shoukd be no issue at all. he did all his work in his driveway with jack stands. he woukd remove and reinstall the supercharger too so he wouldnt void the warranty when he brought it back to ford for scheduled maintence

Some brands are still year specific to the chassis they are used on. Some other brands like BBK, have test fitted these and know they carry to the newer chassis.

@@Father_Paul_GT I'm curious also. Nothing wrong with it but the car being N/A using the 7/8 would be better. I believe the 7/8 is good unless your going to add 700 plus horsepower. 7/8 just insures enough pleasure is being pushed through. I'm curious if you would have actually gotten better numbers with the 7/8. Probably not much if it did if any at all.

Actually, the 7/8 pipes defeat the purpose on NA applications. Since the 7/8s can’t scavenge the exhaust fumes like the 3/4 due to the diameter. With that said, the 3/4 pipes are actually better than the 7/8s for naturally aspirated applications...

I have the offroad bbk set up for my s550 and im about to install it but instead of buying lundracing tune i was going to get a dynotune because i heard those are the best for getting the most power out. can you help me? Dyno tune or lund racing?

No. 2015-2017 Mustangs were rated at 435 HP and 400 lb-ft of torque at the engine's flywheel. In the video, we measured rear wheel horsepower. This measurement is always less than the engine's rating because of drivetrain loss. Think of rear wheel horsepower as your take home pay after taxes are taken out. The drivetrain loss differs from car to car, but on average, a manual Mustang has roughly a 13-15% drivetrain loss. -Landan

Justin, the tune does not add power separately from the headers. The tune is there to make the headers and other components work together. What many people DONT understand is, that the tune, if all by itself, is on the car and nothing else, yes it adds power, but once other power modds are put on, the tune no longer makes its own power, but rather makes all the modds work together instead. 27 whp for headers and mid pipe at the wheels is pretty darn good. That's around 31 crank hp. Most long tubes will add about 12-15 wheel hp. The mid pipe adds another 7-10 hp. And, running catted or no catts, won't make any realistic power difference. And there's no such thing as "hi-flow" catts. To many e haunt experts have shown me how little the power gained is, and it's only about 2-3 hp. No worth it.

Get rid of the CAI kit and put in a K&N drop-in. Oem, NA cars don't need or perform well with huge aftermarket CAI's.

@@Logan-ty4ib I'm not agreeing or disagreeing. Let me know what CIA makes 30 hp. I'll buy it tomorrow. I've dropped a K&N in mine. A little throttle response is probably all I got. Maybe better gas mileage but I would know that either considering 13 mpg is my usual. I like the closed box on the Corsa being I have everything else Corsa. Any thoughts?

@@lydiamiller639 my 1/4 mile time with a bama tune C&L was 12.6 @113mph , I did a 12.3 1/4 @ 114 with a Ford racing tune even though it has "less" power. My intake temp with the aftermarket cai was 30 degrees higher than ambient than with stock.

Rear wheel power is what he was showing at 396. The motor makes 435 at the crank alone, then there is horsepower loss thru the trans, drive shaft, rear end etc.. so your at 396 to the actual wheels and ground. I make 472 at the crank and only 410 to the wheels in my 2015 5.0 with only a JLT intake and corsa catback system.

Rwhp son. Crank is what is advertised. And most high hp dynos on stock cars are overstated due to open hood dynos. Closed hood is the PROPER way to dyno a car IF you drive it. If you SIT in a parking lot with the hood open, then dyno that way. Realistic average dynos for the new 5.0 are 360-380 rwhp. Note that this car in the test was not completely stock: CAI and 93 octane, plus an open hood, with a fan blowing on the engine, keeping much cooler than it would be if driving on the road, and lots of extra airflow going into the air intake that would normally never happen, with hood closed. So this is realistically a 380-385 rwhp car. 15% average. Also, if using 91 fuel, deduct 10 hp and if it's an automatic deduct 20 hp. These are the factual realities of real world numbers vs parking lot queens.
