Well done Mike. Just a heads up, when you open up the sunroof the little thing that pops up in front is not a bug guard, it is actually to eliminate a wind whistle or, a whooshing sound that can happen with sunroofs when driving at higher speeds. One tip, if sunroof is open all the way and you still get the "whoosh" slightly open one window, solves the issue.

Bought a 2014 EcoDiesel last year for a steal! Love the styling & lines of this gen GC. Low mileage & no issues so far. Has every option except the air suspension & adaptive CC, I absolutely love it! The glass roof is awesome & nothing beats the torque & towing power of the diesel engine! Plus I'm still covered under FCA extended warranty out to 120k miles. I do think I'll be hanging onto this one for quite a while.

I purchased the grand Cherokee but in the limited trim level versus the overland. I have every option that the overland has minus the quadralift suspension. I didn't want or need this plus it's just another thing that can break lol. I love the jeep so far, no complaints and would highly recommend it.

Great video on the 2015 Overland. Looking to buy one and was waiting for the 2015 review. There are a lot complains with the 2014 as well as a Class Action law suit. You covered everything I didn't see or noticed a big difference from 2015 and 2014 hopefully Jeep cleared up the complain issues.

Very nice job by Jeep!! Damn I am impressed. This thing has more bells and whistles then a Lexus SUV and an engine that seems like overkill. Thats what most people want big V8 right.

Andy Mel Wrong. The eco button controls the shift points for better fuel economy. The Jeep with Quadralift will automatically go into AERO mode once it reaches a certain speed for better fuel efficiency (or if in sport mode) no matter if ECO mode is on or not. ECO mode does not control the air suspension in any way.

I'm debating if I should go ahead and purchase teh diesel model. I have never dealt with diesel. Not certain if it will more maintence. Do I have to plug it in to keep the diesel warm during the winter. Will it entail less oil change. I currently have a 2007 cherokee laredo with 267K miles the water pump just went out on it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed thats all whats wrog with it. getting the thermastat changed also. I'm looking to upgrade but not sure if to stick woth gas or switch over to diesel ( scared I may later not be happy with the diesel) but I do put alot of miles on my vehicles.

Lizette Hernandez In your situation I would recommend the gas engine. Diesel engines have a different maintenance schedule and they require DEF fluid. You are used to gas and I think you will be happier with a gas engine. I know you are going to like the 8 speed transmission that the new Grand Cherokees have!

What a great truly in depth review.Got my Overland as a birthday present from the hubby 5 years and you’ve showed me things in my car that I never knew I had (like the volume controls behind paddle shifter *insert mind blown emoji*) You also gave me the confidence I needed to finally try the paddle shifters.Chrysler should hire you to make their Jeep Car Manual DVD that they include with the car because I was more engaged watching your review then trying to get through that dvd.
