In 2016 the motor changed. This works for 2011-2015 3.6L.

Give it a couple more start ups,,,or just reset computer by disconnecting battery neg cable for around 10 min..that will reset check engine light !

Replaced my thermostat and now I’m getting an intermittent squealing from the engine. Is it from the coolant getting on the belt?

Most likely dump some washer solvent on it around by that area or water

You should clear it with a scanner or try disconnect battery

Do you have scanner to see what the sensor is reading ? Plus there is no air pocket you have steady heat , possibly a bad sensor

@@richierock1300 have steady heat coming through. I don’t have a computer to check it but will do so tomorrow if it doesn’t go off.

Changed the thermostat belt the water pump, and still can't get my temperature gauge levels at the middle mark.

Does it have heat if no heat has a air pocket needs to bled if has heat make cooling fan comes on with ac on sometimes the sender goes bad but that’s a pain too

Is all air out of the system? Does it have heat ? Put a scanner on it check engine temperature reading

Bleed the COOLANT you have air in the COOLANT system the ect is sending an incorrect signal to the ECM so the ECM is power switching the fans on

Meant to update!! Turns out it wasn’t a fan my bearings went out and that’s what the loud noise was from 🤦‍♀️

What in the dash if so has some air in it need to get hot drive around then let it sit cool down then double check coolant level and top off if needed
