I just bought a '16 Malibu 1LT with a few options a month ago. I love it. I traded a '16 Camry SE with the Special Edition package for it. It was the best decision I have made in a car purchase. It's 200% better than the Camry. Reliability is to be seen, since it's only a month old. However, quality is better by far.

It looks really good. I like it. All they need to make me a hybrid buyer, is a battery pack that lasts 200,000 miles. Right now once you hit about 90,000 miles, you need to stop driving it & start trying to sell or trade it in while the batteries still have 20 or 30 thousand miles left on them.

What is covering the top part of the left most climate control vent? 3:40 - 4:00 Seems like the low and high speed is that when driving in EV mode and not driving the fast, only the main motor will be spinning. But when you reach higher speeds, the smaller generator will come in too and spin also, thus the main motor RPM lowers so efficiency increases. When you need power, the generator disconnects and the main traction motor provides full power. This comes mostly or all from the VOLT not the 2-mode hybrid pickup trucks.. unless the drivetrain isn't that similar to the Volt but closer to the 2-mode hybrid pickup trucks that GM used to make.

GM better hope previous owners of problem filled GM products have forgiven them.When it comes out of your own wallet for thousands in repairs, I don't see how that's possible. I made the mistake of buying a 1988 Chevy Beretta. I owned it for 12 expensive, repair-filled years. Engine block on the 2.8 V6 cracked for unknown reasons with just 5k left on the power-train. The turn signal lever even broke in half! Cheap crap!

I don't hate it but GM dropped the ball on something that should have NEVER been over looked. Side and rear profiles are GREAT.. BUT.. the front nose needs "a nose job" The huge grille doesn't leave much room on the front end for anything. If the grille was redesigned (smaller) the car would look SOO much better. PS.. WHY does GM put the SAME lights in the Malibu, Impala AND Camaro ?? You need to make your vehicles appear a little different from each other.

Well Mazda didn't knock my socks off so the Boo and Cruze will be up for a test drive . Wish chevy would send out 2016's for viewing. Notice it seems a bias keeps from a proper review , maybe someone over 65 needs a voice after all we buy a lot of cars. We remember what car used to be like. (440 ply stick with killer clutch and no pwr steering or pwr brakes)

A friend complained that the 15 Malibu was hard to get out of ,I though he meant the back seat. I went to buy one with my wife (stroke victim) and !crap! the front door jam is in front of the seat back so it is hard to turn to get out. The kick panel is very wide for some one who can't bend their leg ,seat is set back from out side edge with a lot of unprotected paint to scratch . Maybe your engineers could look at a FORD FUSION for a lesson in ergonomics. Well I'll put my money back in the bank and wait . Nah lots of other cars out there Mazda ,Kia, Nissan, Ford, Toyota. Quit trying to copy Jag's and build a car I "want to drive".
