I love watching the MM, every year if I get the chance. If I miss it, I always look all the videos up and watch later. To me Mark is the best chanter I have ever listened to. His voice is incredible and the beats he keeps, especially on the more 'energetic' ones, makes my blood sing almost as much as the bagpipes of my ancestry.

The one standard that Kamuela (Sam Naeole) required of his hula dancers were long hair. The tradition lives on.

The first song sounded so familiar, I’m more than certain I grew up to that song.. I just can’t remember the tittle.. does anybody know the tittle? I could be mistaken I might be confusing with another song but I doubt it.. 🤔🤷🏽♀️
@LoveleeshayMusic6 жыл бұрын
megxmarie15 the first set is a medley . It starts with "Mele Ohana" then right as it comes to the English verse in the song they switched over to "Ka Nohona Pili Kai". Both songs are by Keali'i Reichel ♡ Hope that helped ^~^

What I like about this is that there seems to be a place for every kind of girl here. Yes, the usual slender young flower is represented. But there is also a place for the lush, juicy, well rounded toothsome wenches as well!
