After owning an Ironhead for 30 years i dont think i could ever get used to 25% vibration. Love your videos though, nice work!

Good review. Your impressions are spot on with the engine. Everyone concentrates on the extra poke, but in reality it's not that much - what's much more impressive is the reduction in vibration and improvement in overall refinement. In fact, the biggest improvement IMHO isn't so much the engine, but the clutch, gear selector and particular the suspension updates. I've ridden all the 107 M8 tourers back-to-back and the Street Glide has by far the best slow speed balance, it just belies it's weight. It's easy to see why it's HD's best selling bike. In fact, here in the States HD sell more SG's than the cumulative total of all bikes by all other manufacturers - which is pretty amazing when you think about it! the Ultra Limited is more comfortable, and the Road King pushes it close; but overall the 107 SG is the best motorcycle HD have ever made IMPO.

Great video. I just bought the new 2017 Fatboy S and I absolutely love it. Has the 110 Screamin' Eagle engine and it is really torquey!!! If that's a word. I almost got a Street Glide. They have a new one out with a 114 Engine in it now. But if I ever get another one, it will be a Road King. Stay save and warm over there. It's a balmy 45 degrees F here in Texas!

Great review, wow I thought stage 1 would have brought more noise ... Bike looks awesome though . I feel I'd like that same paint skeem in a blue, little on the dark side too.. Awesome camera work... ride safe.

I rode a brand new Streetgilde from Eaglerider solo across the US in 2015... Awesome bike but had to stop every few hours due to my arse getting numb, but gave me an excuse to photograph the bike and take in the fantastic views. If I could afford to buy one for myself I would...great bike and tons of power. :)

I got the 17 Street Glide Special after having a n 07 hot Rod Dyna I built up to a 106 C.I. The new bike in the stock form is good, after adding a few minor upgrades to lights, pegs and grips I think I'll just ride it for a bit...It does the U'S. interstate highways great and the twisty's just fine to. I was stationed in Sicily for a couple of years, and I thought their roads were a bit tight...lol rubber side down...

Great review. How do you compare the power on the new 107 compared to the Low Rider S 110 you also tested. I know there is a weight difference, wind difference and the exhaust noise, the LRS had. But just overall :-)

The big question is how long it will take for the chassis redesign to bring the M8 into the Softail and Dyna ranges. Make no mistake, the M8 is a massive deal for Harley. It's the first major engine overhaul since the 'blockhead' evo took over from the Shovelhead and that was over 30 years ago. My guess is it'll be two to three years before the M8 is the standard big twin HD engine. Which always leaves buyers in something of a dilemma. Myself included!

My 2015 Handles as good as my undefeated 1976 T140V Triumph Bonneville 750, well except the H-D weighs more than twice as much which makes it a non back road racer even though it's fast, handles great and stops great. It's just too heavy. Oh, wait, H-D is calling this a Touring Motorcycle and not a sport bike.

What are you talking about? My 2015 FLHP Road King Police has one finger brakes and they are linked as well as having ABS. My Harley has fantastic breaks, so what the fuck are you talking about! If it was not for the ABS I could lock front and or rear breaks with no problem. Of course the ABS prevents that. So buddy, Pal, asshat how in the world could the breaks be any stronger or fade resistant???

Ha ha "coming into the turn a little bit of rear break" forgetting the fact that at any speed above parking lot 10 mph the front and rear breaks are "LINKED". Harley-Davidson is the only mfr that has the rear break not linked at parking lot speeds BTW so then yes you can use the rear break as a "drag" break and the front will not activate when using only the rear break pedal. He is a Newbie for sure.
