Oh man, that car sounds absolutely beastly. What an amazing car, I'm not even close to a camaro fan, but the LS motors are just beasts for power, and the sound is incredible. Such a smooth roar to it, muscular down low, and that high tone up top. Also lol "Before you die, it's fantastic!" Another killer review man!

The Onion posted an article stating how the human evolution of eye sight upon the millennial generation has become insufficient when tasked with checking blind spots in Chevy Camaros. I'll find the link some where. But then again I may not and could just be making this whole thing up. Maintaining the millennial stereotype and being a US Veteran is such a difficult task these days.

matrox - I think shorter people have trouble with visibility. I have a 17 Gen 6 SS that I drive daily and will admit that visibility isn't great, but it's good enough that I don't ever think about it. I had never driven a later model Camaro so when I took it for a test drive I was expecting the worse and it was good enough that it never entered my mind the entire drive.

I think I have mentioned this before. It looks 100% hotwheels. And there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that! And man, even before that footage of you easing into it I saw how the car was not happy with all that rain. I have never reviewed a car in the rain myself. However I did love how the rain drops moved over the body with the wind. You can almost see that aero working. Awesome stuff!

I got one of these about a month ago, had to bring it to NY from VA during a rainy Sunday... You got balls brother, pushing the car in rain the way you did!! I was waiting for the "oh shit" moment to happen, lol. The tires are super sketchy in the rain! And the spline pain, next time you drive it, lock the seat belt and tighten it, it will hold you like a harness and you won't bounce in the seat... let pain that way!

Eric Erickson So according to the g meter in the hellcat, on the track I've done 1.10g more than likely due to drifting, where as the 1le could actually hold that turn.

Yes on the track the G meters tend to go wonky, but the ZL1 1LE is 2-3 orders of magnitude faster on the track than a stock Hellcat.

I want to daily mine. I daily and track a 18 ZL1 but I think the 1LE is daily drivable if you track 7-8 times a year like I do. It’s a trade off that you make If you track. If you don’t then it’s just posing

Phil Oh dude it's fucking rough. I did about 120mi in that ZL1 1LE and was physically tired. The normal ZL1 and V2 are like cloud 9 compared to this thing.

Hector Mendoza the 2017 ZL1 Base made 567 hp and 570 ft/lbs of tq, now with a few changes and new add ons they will make closer to 580 hp/590 ft/lb i reckon

Check that info. The ZO6 has 12 heat exchangers, 1 more than the ZL1/ 1LE has 11. I have both, a Z06/Z07 pkg. & ZL1. The Z06 is still faster and a better track vehicle.

Actually, you DO NOT get "300 pounds of down force UP TO 150 MPH". :)) The driver can "...get 300 pounds of downforce FROM 150 MPH on...". :) So unless you're driving that fast you ain't getting 300 pounds of DF. :) Great track car...YES. On the street...bad idea. I'd opt for the standard ZL1 with magnetic suspension. :)

Nice exterior design but some weak points. The real problem is interiors, have too many cheap plastics on dashboard, doors and almost all parts inside. The display screen has a bad angle. I think that $73000 dollars is too much money. And another bad point is that Chevy only has the ZL1 1LE in a manual transmission.
