They are put on at the factory to protect the splitter during transport. They say right on them “to be removed by dealer” but for some reason 90% of Hellcat and Demon owners keep them on. It looks so stupid! Like leaving the plastic on your new couch.

Unkowndewey It is supposed to be removed once car is delivered to dealerships. I dont know what idiot started this stupid trend. Those splitters are like $200, if that. Those cars don't ride low enough to scrape splitters anyway, unless your an idiot that absolutely cannot drive.

I don't think Chevy or Ford need to top it. They each make pretty special cars in their own rights. Every 2-3 yrs each manufacturer does something to push the competition and I love it. Im not a "Brand" guy. When I'm done with my Scat Pack, i'll go out again and test drive all offerings to see what's the best fit for me. I love knowing that I'll have pretty amazing choices and that's a win for me and everyone else. Shout out to all the Dodge, Ford, Chevy owners out there!

Backyard Chevy that yellow stripe on the splitter is to protect it. It comes from the dealer and you’re supposed to take it off, but some people don’t.

The owner needs to take that yellow front splitter protector off. It only to protect it during trailer transport. There is a story going around one blew off under near the car and wrapped around the driveshaft

You do know that horsepower isn’t the only factor when it comes to how fast a car is, right? In addition to that different cars have different purposes. The hellcat is a straight up drag car, you can track it but probably not nearly as fun as in a corvette. You can drag the corvette but to take advantage of all it can do you’ll be taking it to the track.
