I finally bought my first new bike, and im a broke dude. But if you save and trade in that hunk of junk, you can do it. Now its harder to upgrade my bike more than affording to ride. Like all my old bikes "used" they all came with pipes and a bunch of other stuff that now Im not going to do for a wile. Not saying its a bad thing, just going to take longer.

I bought a new 2017 Street Glide Special last July and I looked around at Indians, Victory's and the Metric baggers but the Harley wasn't the most expensive. The Indian was far and away more expensive than the Harley! I always thought Harley's were so expensive but they're competitively priced!

just rented this bike the other day with Eaglerider. Probably one of the best bike experiences ive ever had. It was super windy when I rode it too and the bike still felt extremely stable.

I have an older street glide and love it! But I do like the riders triangle of the road glide better but the street glide looks better. Its a tough decision between the 2

I love the bike and have been tempted to go and get one. On the other hand every bike I have owned I have paid off cash or traded plus cash. I can’t see myself paying that price when I can get another bike that can come reasonably close to it for half the price. New victory bikes have some crazy discounts and they promised parts for 10 years.

all those fairings are acquired taste but i need speakers and the road glide has a weird fairing and weird double lights. I guess i like the road king but i need sound and nav occasionally.

I like the street glides but be honest...how reliable are they? I had a Honda CBR and it never just crapped out for whatever reason. Am I going to have to tighten or fix something every 500 miles?

I just traded a 07 Ultra for a 2012 Street Glide and it has a 103 the 07 has a 96, lot more power and smooth! It has the throttle by wire lot more responsive than the throttle cables

The exhaust needs to be changed out and handle bars for taller riders had had to hunch over to ride switched my 2014 sg to 10” mini apes and perfect ride

I've noticed that with new Harley bikes. I kinda wish they'd just sell the damn things without exhaust systems seeing as everyone changes them out anyways. It's save people some money..

Exactly why I don`t like the new 107, after my test drive last year I came to the same conclusion: It does feel more like a Honda than a Harley! I ride my Harley evo because it doesn`t feel like other bikes and has the heart and soul of a though bred, and also incredibly reliable. Certainly this is a refined Harley and will appeal to many, just not this 60 year old at this time!

I stopped caring whether others dress for the slide. Their choice, they're old enough to know what's good for them. I only care when they give poor advice to new riders. I know I'd like to get back on a bike after an accident as soon as possible, whether that's right away, or after it's been fixed or replaced.

He's tall probably why haha. I am shorter, but do sometimes hop on the right side. I usually just get on whichever side of the bike I happen to be at when I reach it haha. I have to kind of hop a little bit to keep from racking myself on my Vmax though. Probably looks ridiculous to bystanders haha.

I love the look of a Street Glide or Road Glide riding by, but from a rider's perspective, nothing beats the Road King sans windshield. I loved my 2018 Industrial Gray Denim Road King Special. It's gone now, but I'm gonna get a new one. Been eyeing the 2020 Road Glide Special in Patriot Red/White, but decided to go for the Road King in River Rock Gray Denim, because the other colors are not my thing. Loved last year's Bonneville Salt Denim and Midnight Blue, but this year the colors are meh. RRGD is the best of the mehs. Could also wait until they announce the 2021 colors in November, but I prefer to be riding before next spring.

Wasn't a good test ride as you had no interstate time. I do own one, If you are less than 190lbs, the suspension is poor as there is no suspension sag with rider even with rear shock is adjusted to the lowest/softest level..this means the suspension is greatly compromised. I also find that gloss painted inner fairing on the Specials gives an annoying reflection back to the rider..Be sure to understand of the 2018-2019 oil pump and sumping issues before you buy.

I don’t know how much this bike costs in US but in Finland HD and Indians are very expensive. I believe this model is almost 50k euros or even more. I mean you need to be a real fan of Harley to accept that price for this bike. Obviously I am not a fan because any other manufacturer offers a lot more bike for much reasonable price for me. But as a sales person I absolutely admire HD for their branding strategy. There is no other bike manufacturer who is even close to them in that sense. Some weeks ago I had chance to test softale flde deluxe and it was ok but nothing extraordinarily. But again it is 30k Euro bike in Finland and I just keeping to compare it with others, doesn’t make sense to go with Harley. I guess Harley is the matter of soul that you might have or not have, obviously I just don’t have enough of it. I like the look and sound of this model. 👍👌

I am sorry BUT I do not like this look on a HD. There is too much stuff up front and the motorcycle is starting to take on the appearance of a maxi-scooter. I would feel too much like a MOD riding this Harley. Triumph is doing it better than Harley these days, still this Harley is better than an Indian so that's something I suppose.

Look I like your videos. I like the funny way that they are presented. I appreciate the idea of a youtube ride before making a sale. It is all good good good and if I lived in the USA I would probably buy a motorcycle off you. I just said that I did not like the funny bat wing thingo on the front of this Harley. At 65 years old I suppose that I am stuck back in the era of naked H-D's and am kicking at the modern fashions. Most other modern bikes look like something out of a star wars movie as uncomfortable pieces of BS. I just bought a new bike and had a hell of a time just getting something that I consider even looks like a motorcycle should look. Give me an uncluttered naked Road King any day.
