Ken. Does the oil viscosity have any effect of the cam timing? Is there a difference in cam timing between the 5w-20 that NA coyotes require from the 5w-50 that some run?

I’d certainly go Whipple. This iteration of the Roush blower is notorious for heatsoaking and pulling timing. It’s a wonder Ken was able to do what he did with it.

Probably another 20 to 30 hp with a tune and quality pump gas, and another 20 to 30 with quality headers.

Tech at Roush said not to run E85 with their blowers..It overheats them. I never heard of that have you.

That makes zero sense, the fuel has nothing to do with the blower. Sounds like the salesman was brewing up some ignorance based fantasy

I know E 85 is good for power . But it's hard on motor has little or no lubricating factors . Because the Petroleum product be prepared to pay for the power

Since when does fuel lubricate a gas engine? That's the oils job.

@@csr801996 Gasoline is a derived from oil . It does deliver some lubricating properties to valves and top distant rings . Pretty much everybody knows that . Alcohol is dry or methanol same thing . Sometimes they ad additives to do lubricate . Little air cooled motors such as lawn motors since alcohol comes in fuel valves are sticking open people think the motors bad . When actually remove the head tap the valve back to where it's free works good but a drop of Marvel mystery oil or something like it . It won't do it again . Don't take my word asked some of the top engine builders. This is not new Henry Ford had the same dilemma when he first built a model T

@@joevald3 so how does gasoline lubricate the combustion chamber if the fuel is burnt? As far as I know there is no reason to lubricate a cylinder as there are piston rings designed to keep oil out of the combustion chamber otherwise the engine would just consume oil non stop.
