Should’ve done the subs together in one chamber and then done the port. Now the subs have slightly different airspace so they will play slightly different which effects sound quality and spl

Ok you got my attention. Been looking for something like this for my 2021 Silverado custom. I'm a huge baashead. This'might be an alternative instead of taking the back seats out too wall off my back for subs. Haha. Like and subscribed

On the bottom you said one end was 14.75 and the other 14" , Is that a typo?

I think that mesurment was a typo. 14.75 is bigger then the other side

I dunno about that unequal lenght port. Probably messes up the tuning. Should have made 90 degree corners on them

Yeah i agree but at the time it was what i decided lol. Ive been debating a front side port and doing 2 much more powerful 8s.

The problem was i couldnt find a good balance between having enough port area for the subs requirements and getting the tuning where i wanted it. Definitely a sacrifice.

Go with 1 aero port on each side of the box firing into the doors

In theory I’ve never made box before trying make one for mine but if not wanted a single could close the port on the longer side if speakers only going one side ? I’d like still have storage

That boxes life will be very short lived being made of particle board if you use decent subs.

You used the wrong wood. Either use birch ply or mdf not particle
