1 thing I have seen is a lot of installers leave the new wiring harnesses just sitting behind the head unit. I personally learnt to tidy the wiring & try to make it look OEM by using Tesa tape or loom on everything that I install. It takes longer but the results look as if the installation was OEM from the factory. :)

Hi guys. Thanks for an interesting vid. One thought, if you add another type of camera, say a night vision/infrared/thermal, this would probably speak to some of us driving in rural and forested landscape. I was toying with the idea that having an infrared or thermal camera would expose any animals that might be lurking beside the road. Whats your thought on that?

Would it be possible to connect the switch to an OEM switch located on the driver side? I have a 2021 RAV4 XLE (gas) with a OEM switch that is not connected to anything at the moment. Do you sell a harness that can plug & play right into this switch? If I purchase the OEM switch front your website, does that include the harness to plug & play into my existing OEM switch?

What I am looking for is an install to allow for a second rear camera that will be put ont the back of a cargo trailer. 1. Therefore I would need the ability to use this second camera in the place of this system "front" camera. 2. However, I would need to switch from the car reverse camera to the trailer reverse camera WHILE the car is shifted to reverse. 3. Since the system always gives priority to the car reverse camera, is there a way to bypass this so I can choose which reverse camera I need. 4. Also, the trailer reverse camera will only be connected when towing the trailer, through the car-trailer connector. Is this a problem for the system to have the second camera not always connected ?

Dash cam needs a wider view and mounting it in the front bumper is not ideal. This is for parking and seeing what is right below the bumper area where it is not visible from inside the car

@@BeatSonicUS cool gadget but I feel like it makes you a worse driver every time you use it. you should be able to judge distance in front of your car. That skill might degrade if you keep using the front camera mod. Very very niche use case in my opinion.
