A fantastic new video with the beautiful voice of my favorite Alba Armengou. But the violin playing by Elia Bastida is great as usual. Carla Motis' guitar playing becomes better and better all the times. And Scott Hamilton is great for many years already. I admire him for more than 40 years. And thank you, Mr. Chamorro for your great bass playing and for giving us this great video! I enjoyed it. Congratulations!

Splendid performance.I love Alba's slight accent too. This group never fail to satisfy. Thanks for bringing this all together Joan.

Wunnerful, wunnerful, as Ed Sullivan would say. But, I do wonder if she's playing with us a bit. That's the most accent I've heard from here in like forever. It's not quite as pronounced when she comes back in. Just an observation. Never a criticism.

I misspoke. I was quoting Lawrence Welk not Ed. (Hey, there was only TV in the house back then and I certainly didn't control it.)

Alba, Alba, Alba.....😍😍😍 perhaps you tell the world the truth... you're an angel, right? Not a mere mortal, like us, but a real angel sent down from heaven above? No? If not, you've got one of the greatest human voices to ever exist! You can't begin to imagine what it sounds like to someone who can't put this sort of thing into words, trying to explain what it sounds like, beyond just what my ears hear, but deep down inside, what my soul feels when you sing and this band plays music! I'm blessed to have heard this, thanks be to the person recording/preserving this for generations to come! Thank you all for playing and sharing your talents with us! God bless each one of you!

Yes a special mention for Alba's vocal here which is so, so good. As always all the musicians were at the top of their game on that evening last November. So many great performances yet to be shown on KZbin you will be pleased to know. It was the occasion when Elia Bastida launched her new CD The Magic Sound of the Violin too, which made it even more special. Thanks for sharing.

It takes great discipline to sound so simple and relaxed. So much to like in this: Scott's wonderful solo, Carla's guitar, Elia's violin , Alba's voice - not to mention Alba's Doc Martens and the way she steps back out of the spotlight in favour of Elia and Scott at the conclusion. Also the expression on Joan's face from 1:09 to 1:14; I felt the same. Time to play it again...
