2019 Ford Super Duty Steering Popping and Rattle Fixed

In this video, I visit PTT to have my horn and lower steering shaft fixed. Both items wore out at about 135K miles. This really surprised me given that neither seem to be common problem areas for Super Duty trucks. This was PTT's first time replacing a lower steering shaft on an Alumiduty.

Did upgrading to that Apex steering parts effect any of those issues ?

It did not. Lower steering shaft is on the other side of the gear box from the drag link

About to get Apex kit installed on a 2015 with 90,000 miles. Nice to know that the apex kit looks to still be working .

so here's a question, when i'm turning corners i feel a pop come through my steering wheel some times, i thought it was the front stabilizer bar but that may not be it. did you sense that same thing in the steering wheel? i doubt my 19 needs it at 40,000 miles, but i already had to replace my horn when i bought the truck at 34,000 hahaha

Yes the exact same thing and I thought it was by sway bar end links. I would hazard a guess that it’s your lower steering shaft!
