Hi G Man: I’ve just bought a 2019 CB1000R + in metallic grey. Fantastic bike Not as keen on using the Q/Shifter going down the box, as I am going up it; I still prefer to use the clutch and blip the throttle. I’ve also swapped the chrome rad guard for an EvoTech one in black + R&G tail tidy. Also prefer the standard mode to Sport. The throttle is smoother around town Enjoy the bike 😊

Brill mate, I know what you mean about the blipper, as I’m using the clutch too sometimes but nice to have the blipper too, cheers, Grant

G-MAN'S Bikes & Bits: You must have had more patience than I did assembling the six rubber grommets into the rad guard. I gave up after three 😡 Took me longer to put three in, than it did to fit the guard. Your ASV levers look mint BTW

You confuse me , do you really know what you want in bikes ,you don’t keep them 5 minits. I had 3 bikes in11 years but you change your bike like socks lol . There’s nothing wrong doing that it’s your choice . But wouldn’t you like a bike that you like enough to keep it?

When I made that video I was still running the bike I’m so was taking it easy, now it’s in Sports mode all the time unless I’m riding in traffic as the throttle is snatchy in sport mode 😜

I like a change, always do ok chopping in for a new bike and never really loose much money in the process either, too many good bikes out there to be on the same one for long, roll on the Streetfighter next year I say 😜

That is one bike I definitely will consider purchasing for my next bike.. I have to say I enjoyed watching the video , but your voice over the Mike sounds a bit muffled and ear irritating ,,!! I had a hard time listening to your voice and stopping from watching the video.. honestly it irritates my ears.. you sound like your screaming into a rolled up t-shirt.. everything is mono sounding. I think it's cause you have the mic either too close to your mouth and or behind the padding.. don't know if anyone else agrees, or it's just my ears..
@GMANS_BIKES_CARS5 жыл бұрын
I have the mic tucked into the cheek pad as my helmet is so noisy, I’ll try and talk a bit quieter to see if that helps 👍

@@GMANS_BIKES_CARS I've had loads of different bikes over the years, last one was a new KTM Super Duke R 1290. I've just bought a really low mileage XT660R cause I fancied a change and a bit of green laning It sounds fantastic and is great fun. But the one bike I've had which I miss the most was a CB1000R. Just great in every way. I love naked bikes and this new one looked great in the photos and even better seeing it for real. Awesome bike brother. Enjoy 👍👍👍

No lad!!, horrible generic looking boring machine, that number plate hanger looks absolutely cheap rubbish !!, what ever happened to that rather yummy Ducati Monster you had, now that was a fabulous looking machine, 'small plate' yeah great fun if you want to get pulled by the Gendarmes!!!, and that's not a euphemism either lol.👍🇬🇧
@GMANS_BIKES_CARS5 жыл бұрын
Actually mate, I’m finding it a better all round machine than the monster, and in person it looks superb also 6k cheaper then the monster, we all like different bikes and that’s what makes life fun, also cops around my parts don’t give a shit about small plates 😜
