I did end up getting the RSpec myself so glad I got the more powerful engine. I still get 30 mpg in mixed driving so I'm happy about that. I too commute allot so good to know about the windshield.

If I didn't have an HR commute to work I'd probably would have gotten the Rspec

You have a 6 speed conventional auto so it will shift a little soft. Turbos have a dual clutch which is automated manual trans so it shifts more sharply but they are known for some vibrations at lower speeds.

Also thinking about doing the tint.. But worried about the visibility at night. I wish I had that sunroof tho! Thanks!

well I'm in TX so we need the tint, visibility at night isn't bad unless your eye site is crap

Does the car develop any rattles or squeaks? I read somewhere about the sunroof and the winshield rattle.

@@drummer7557 what stuff are you smoking that it’s better handling than an rx8? I own this exact car and I’ve owned an rx8 and though this little car is good for a fwd it’s not even in the same league as the mazda
@SINE3823 жыл бұрын
@@drummer7557 yeah the handling what the hell are you talking about?? The Rx8 is one of the best handling cars ever made, doubt you’ve ever driven one and as a previous owner of one can say it runs circles around the veloster and I own the exact same veloster! Your whole comment didn’t even make sense man, not sure what the hell you are talking about with it being hard on engine and gearbox because it holds revs in sport mode. That’s the point of sport mode to extract any and all the small amount of ponies it has, that’s an N/A engine for you, it builds linear power through its revs. The 2.0 isn’t a fast engine but I’m not sure what your talking about trying to pass people that it’s too slow, I’ve never struggled to get it up to speeds, just don’t try and race anyone and it will keep up and pass just about any vehicle at legal speeds. Re read your whole statement and give your head a shake. I have no idea what the hell you were talking about or why you’d compare it to one of the best handling rwd cars built. The base engine veloster is a reliable, low maintenance cost car that’s why you bought it. For my wife it’s the perfect vehicle she doesn’t race and needed something cheap and good on gas. Don’t get me started on the carbon build up people are having with the 1.6t Hyundai’s

@@drummer7557 lol the only guys who struggled with the rx8 are the type who don’t read a manual or change their own oil. 🤷♂️ sorry buddy not 25 and not a fool either. Your comment made absolutely no sense.
