I love your patch! I just started my own patch last week and bought from indiana berry, which you recomended in your previous video. Your videos are very informative, thank you!!!

Travis Strickland Thanks! Indiana Berry is really awesome. That’s where I bought the new ones this year. Love them because you can buy as little as one bare root of any variety.

Great videos and helpful tips! How deep did you set your end posts? Do they have to bear much weight, or is it more about basic support to control floricane and primocane direction? I'm setting up a 50 foot-long trellis for Thompson seedless grapes and golden raspberries (first year). It will have one or two posts in the middle...still planning.

i know what it's like to want a ton of varieties of rasp/blackberries... I kind of went crazy this summer and got 22+ different ones! (I have a video of them if you're interested). Are you planning on doing another update on your raspberries since this one is 4 years old now?

Do you water them much?

Hey, quick question. Where do you buy all your different raspberry types? I want to buy royal purple raspberries right now, and they're all out of stock. Will they come back in soon or something?

got a good deal on 4 Heritage rasp plants and i used your guide to get them going! Theyre tiny right now with one leaf on each but i have big dreams for them! Do you like the flavor of heritage or is that the worst one?
@mugs1325 жыл бұрын
Heritage is high quality, classic taste and hardy. We love it and the Joan J and Taylor. But also love the variety of yellows and black raspberries.

Hey, its me agian. I was wonder what are the signs that my raspberry bareroot plants are breaking dormacy, because they have been in the ground for three weeks and nothing is sprouting or growing. Please respond, thanks.

So I should take out any straggler raspberries plants that are coming up?
@mugs1325 жыл бұрын
Boosted Bricks Pull out any stragglers outside the 12” row.

Haha, last question: How long did it take your bare root plants to come out of dromacy?
@mugs1325 жыл бұрын
You should notice new shoots near the bare root in 4-6 weeks. I planted those new one early April 2019 and they’re all coming in.

In your 2015 video you mentioned using cayenne pepper to deter rabbits. If you still do this, maybe reconsider. It makes me sad thinking about rabbits and stray cats getting cayenne on their paws, which then they'll rub around their eyes and noses. It's effective, but maybe not the most humane.
