This will be a best seller. It has the Corolla name, Toyota badge, non aspirated engine and lots of safety features. Its also built in Japan. The chief engineer, Yoshiki Konishi, said theirs plans for a performance version in the future. The sedan version won’t be revealed until 2020.

The engine is aspirated. Aspirate means 'to breath' All engine pump huge volumes of air in, or breathe. If you see a spec sheet refer to 'NA' it means 'normally aspirated' as opposed to forced aspirated, such as turbo charged.

I put red reflectors lengthwise in the fake exhaust outlets. I bought inexpensive self sticking rectangular reflectors at the autos supply and cut them lengthwise and stuck them inside the chrome outlets. They look great and factory perfect on my Black Hatchback XSE.

Seems like its halogen reflectors its just put LED bulbs in, im still not sure if that was aftermarket installed or OEM. Seems a bit weird for toyota to make a reflector for a LED bulb when they can make it alot cheaper.

Sounds like you may have a lemon on your hands. I experienced a bunch of headaches with a 2016 Nissan Maxima. Ended up returning the car and got my down payment back. I would check your state's lemon law guidelines.

On the Texas DMV.gov site says after 3 attempts to fix the same issue you can file. Monday I drop it off for my 3rd attempt and from our phone conversation I'm pretty sure they don't even have an idea of what to look for. Honda of America case mgr has been useless as well. Very disappointed from anything or anyone behind a Honda logo.

Toyota has manufactured a fine, quality product with the all-new 2019 Corolla Hatchback. A perfect urban commuter. A 2.0-liter direct injection inline four-cylinder producing 168 hp and 151 lb/ft of torque driving the front wheels is sufficient for this vehicle. And it's quiet. We got our Corolla hatchback SE 2020 3days ago. Fun to drive, has a little difference between XSE & SE. Like XSE dual climate control aircon, SE sa single, XSE automatic sit adjuster, SE Manually, aside from that everything are similar interior & exterior, for practically wise & price get SE than XSE.

I'd get the SE but with the 18" rims. Still debating if I'll go for the CVT w/ 1st gear or the stick with rev matching. The rims add so much to the look/stance. Was thinking Galactic Aqua Mica.

Kind of agonizing over the SE vs XSE at the moment. I sat in both, liked the seats in the XSE more. The side bolstering on the SE seats felt a little too bulky and restrictive on my back and arms when in a relaxed seating position. Conversely, the seats in the XSE felt natural and comfortable instantly. Also the XSE has heated seats which is extremely nice for the winter months in the Northeast where I live. I don't know if I would want to run those 18" rims year round though, I've never had to live with them before. I'm not sure how much they restrict my options for snow tires, and if snow tires built for 18" rims have reduced effectiveness. I could get a second set to swap in for winter, but who wants to do that every time? I am not buying until the spring tho, therefore I did not drive either one, only sat in at the dealership. I guess test drives will be the ultimate decider. Just gotta decide if the features/upgrades in the XSE are worth spending the extra for. Probably gonna go with manual transmission whichever trim I decide on. Thanks for the video!

I really like this car a lot. I have my "toy" car but would like a good daily driver that is reliable and good quality. I don't like the fake exhaust, but can get over it and alot of people say needs more power. It really doesn't. It is NA and has more than you need for a commuter car. If you need more power, this is not the car for you. You can do like what I am trying to do, get your dream car and then this. This car will be hassle free and good resale value. My only other gripe is the price. Pricing one out and getting the options and packages you want gets this price up close to $29k. If that were more like $22k, would be perfect.

I guess we would have to debate the meaning of the words in relation to the audience and context. a. An explosion is a rapid increase in volume and release of energy in an extreme manner, usually with the generation of high temperatures and the release of gases. b. Combustion - the process of burning something. Burning compressed gasoline mixed with oxygen creates 'a rapid increase in volume and release of energy in an extreme manner', AKA explosion.

Love the car. Just bought a 6 speed manual XSE, 2021, silver with w/black metallic roof. It really pops. Has a Mini Cooper paint scheme vibe ($500.00) for the paint. Drives great. Rides great, partly because of the, sophisticated for this car segment, rear independent multilink suspension. Like much more expensive autos would be have.

This is a Pretty neat Corolla! Interesting the price is $25K. That’s what I paid for my new Impala LT with a Pano Roof and 4G LTE WIFI and Onstar with Room for Real People. And over 18 Cubic Feet of trunk. I get over 35MPG HWY too. Of course the sticker was $34K and I talked them down a bit which anyone can do. And what a ride she gives. So many choices today it pays to do your homework and see what you can get for your money.

Love the Toyota hatch. Probably, my next car. My only complaints-needs more horses/torque, the fake exhaust holes, and it needs a few more inches in legroom for the back seat. (Toyota, please bring back the old Xrs engine) The best points are the safety sense and the suspension/stance (cornering) upgrades over the Im. I love that it has some fun factor though it looks faster than it is.

Bought this car in March,2021. Love it, am having difficulty getting my phone GPS to speak when I'm driving, twice it came through radio, but I don't know how or why. Need input on this. As an almost 70 yr old its is difficult to get in and out, especially for my equally old passengers. I have the olive bronze one.

Edward Conner simply wipe it off with a damp cloth or put a towel on it like i do. Or buy a can of scotch guard. If you take care of your things it’s not a problem. I love it personally; but I don’t have nasty kids and I’m a clean guy that doesn’t eat in the car. It’s just a personal thing.

Great update, and finally, decent Horsepower, and the innovative CVT with a real launch gear. Generally, a great car, building in the previous Corollas, and addressing the shortcomings, especially the engine power. Bad points, visit mirrors are small. I don't remember from early reviews if the back up camera has trajectory, as it wasn't mentioned. And is Android Auto a confirmed future update, or is that a speculation, as I heard it was only Apple Car Play and Amazon Alexa. That is a big downside that would lose lots of sales. On my comments about that on early reviews, Toyota fan boys mentioned they will sell a lot of cars anyway, but you are still talking about a potential thousands, to tens of thousands that will buy other brand cars instead of this one just because of that...
