I recently Bought a 2019 Mt 09 largely based on your review and my Coaches input, after 8 months and 4400 miles i can say GRANDPA is very happy the MT 09 wants more and more to the point it becomes addicting in the Lean wow what a motorcycle. Fast nimble quick shifter raw power it just wants more, the youngsters look perplexed when Grandpa takes his Lid off when they meet me after a Ride. The Mt09 is the little Kid your Mother told you not to play with. This review is spot on well done and thank you for this outstanding review. After 4400 miles on my MT09 i would recommend it, I call mine Grandpa's Therapy !!!!!!

I’ve been riding the 09 since last 3 years. Makes me a teenager every time I ride it! 0-100mph, it’s a king. Even the badass ones find it challenging in that contest. Well made video. But MT09 lacks that theatrical sound, the howl. I am a Big Yamaha Fan-Boy and i used to blindly love anything that Yamaha used to throw out. But i have had a good fortune to ride some sports bikes. Ducati Moster 696, Yamaha FZ6, Honda CB1000R and the latest gen bike being Suzuki GSX S750. And i realized that in real-world riding conditions, all one needs is a Traction Control, ABS and a Stock Exhaust note that pleases your ear. And MT09 fails to deliver on that part. S750 is my current Fav as it fulfills all the mentioned criteria. But nothing beats Honda CB1000R for the exhaust howl it makes. That howl just makes you wanna wring its neck thru gears, over and over again till you realize you have run out of the road and hit some traffic.

Graham Stewart agreed my dear friend. Everyone has an ear for different kinda sound. Some might like the Cross plane crank exhaust sound of Yamaha bikes. But what i meant to say is, i prefer it when the Manufacturer pays attention to tune up their exhaust to make a specific sound. It means they are interested in delivering an all-round package. That's why i was specifically talking about the Stock exhaust. its damn easy to slap on an aftermarket one to get a good sound.

Im afraid its us Europeans fault, ever increaing euro regulations on emissions and noise levels are forcing manufacturers to tame things down hence the huge demand aftermarket exhausts and ECU remaps here. Just wondering any rumours of a 650 RE Himalayan in India?

Had the pleasure of extensively riding the 1st generation. What a fantastic machine! Moves as nimbly as a Duke 390 but damn when that power kicks in, it very much felt like 3 390cc single cylinders were exerting force on the rear wheel. Shame that its priced so high here. In the US it's just $200 more expensive than the Z900 and packs in so much more equipment in comparison. Yamaha Motors India, if you're listening, bring this as a CKD and you have a sure shot segment demolisher.

Really feel good to see RAW Kartikeya Singhee at it's best with sheer performance bikes and performance cannot imagine 2012 2013 Singhee (like in formal clothes short hair hahaha) lovely work boss one Request to PD folks if possible show us dyno test and the onboard top speed of bikes on road (not the official claim speed ) as it is about pure performance
