Great podcast, this knowledge is the wisdom from the agrarian societies. In cities this has been lost. This was truly and insight.

I really got so much out of this episode. I think you may have helped heal my relationship with my daughter 🤞 BTW algorithms led me here due to my interests in Dr Schubener another incredible teacher, who you interviewed in a previous episode. Thankfully I subscribed.

53:10 and Anne, a parent comes in and already you hear why a village is needed when it comes to growing a wholesome human who is wrapped up in their own being. Wr alk have an image of what, how things ought to be but are we correct? I am a parent with 5 boys and 2 girls and i would have share Anne's way of thinkings a while back. I am also a parenthelp for a career and while in and out of different dynamics of various families, one thing is clear. There is no expertice when it comes to bringing up ones kids. But the good is that they dont belong to us, they are a part of the jigsaw. My mom used to say that she was just a channel that god without her permission used to perfom his will and for that she held her accountable in doing all that was necessary for her burden to be light. Light it was not observing feom outside in but she challenged it with all the tools she had all the way to the age of 90 years age❤

The lady is pretty defensive She keeps twisting what the expert is saying to make herself out as not being responsible and blaming her daughter. Maybe that's part of the problem in her relationship with her daughter. She's not actually understanding or even willing to try. If only she'd let her guard dowm, be less defensive, try less to be 'right'... The fact that you compare your daughter to your 'ideal' sons... That's pretty harsh and will make her feel worthless Maybe she showed more love and acceptance to the sons and that's why they were more 'ideal'
