Did not see the new tires being warmed up nor a proper wheel alignment performed after the swap. These 2 things have a major effect on the performance of the tires.

Yeah street tires are fun, but slow on track. I remember going to COTA with some CONTINENTAL EXTREME CONTACT DW tires, respectable street tires but on track I was drifting around like a fool. Looked pretty awesome but pretty slow.
