I love the Geranium and Snowdrop scent from Mrs. Meyers as well! I don’t have any kids, it’s just my husband and I so I do his laundry one day and then bedding/towels/my clothes on a different day.

I live in Washington so I got the choice to home school through the school district and that’s what we decided ( it is homeschooling but you can call an educator at any time). I think if you are comfortable putting your child in school than that is your choice. There should be no mom shaming because they are your children. 😃 also I love your recipes!!!!!

I have 4 kids and one of them has a rare autoimmune disease so I chose to do virtual learning. But my kids really wanted to go back to school. It just isn't right for my family right now. I definitely agree! Mom-shaming-FREE-ZONE! I’ve homeschooled my kids years before the pandemic and you really have to do what’s best for your family’s needs. As a homeschooling mom of 3, we have a combination of curriculums based on each of my child’s needs. My oldest is a visual learning, so the elements differ with my other children.

I homeschooled my son all the way from kindergarten through graduation last year, and we used so many different curriculum, but my favorite for math was teaching textbooks and for science apologia. We also used alpha and omega, it’s workbook based, so if they like that kind of learning, that’s a great curriculum.

Love having a recipe added. We are in Ohio and my kids will go back face to face and they are super excited. I’m a teacher and I will also be teaching face to face and honestly I can’t wait to get back. I’ve missed the routine and hoping for everything to get back to “normal” soon!

I love so many Mrs. Meyers scents. My favorite is honeysuckle, and I also really like rose, lilac, and I just started a bottle of orange clove hand soap and it smells so great and reminds me of fall! I'm homeschooling my preschool age daughter using Seton Home Study school. It's a Catholic curriculum. I've heard wonderful things about Seton's program and materials from other parents and students.

I do a load a day to keep up on it. But today I have 2 loads, 1 clothes and 1 towels. That was a yummy looking recipe you threw in there, I like when you put in recipes, and cooking tips. My kids are grown now, but my grand kids are going back to school full time, they are in 1st and 5th grades. They both want to go back and both parents work, so its easier for the whole family. If this for some reason doesnt work out then they will go to virtual learning. Thank you for the great Video!!

It's just me, so I just do laundry once a week. I love my Shark - it's the best vacuum I've ever had! I'm also amazed that your dog is not scared of the vacuum! Mine is so scared of it and hides all the time.

I love your tip for using the freezer for overnight oats because I forget to make them at night sometimes. I'm from SC and we decided to send our daughter to school. She's already been around other kids for the past couple of months with her activities. She's starting Kindergarten and really needs to have in-person interaction. The kids are going 2-3 days a week on an A/B schedule to reduce class size and wearing masks. Also, our virtual option requires staying in the program for the entire school year for anyone not in high school. We're just praying that we're doing the right thing for our family.

Just wanted to say, if you do end up homeschooling, we’ve used the ABeka dvd program for over ten years now. I have two children. My background is in education, and I can’t even count how many times I’ve said that I wish we were taught to teach using the same methods as ABeka. Very pleased! Best wishes to you all!!

I love the toilet wands. I have some in my master bathroom but i should get some for the other bathrooms too. I want to buy the Shark vaccum that you have. I like when you show how much it picks up you can absolutely tell that it is a deep clean and picks up well.

What a time to be a parent... Deciding what to do with our kids has been so heart wrenching. Luckily, I have been able to work from home since this started and will continue to WFH for atleast another year. Our kids are little so its hard for them to make sense of all of this and the changes being made at our local schools are going to be challenging for the kids to digest. So we have decided to do virtual learning with our oldest and homeschool our youngest (a family member who lives local has homeschooled for a few years so im getting so much info from her). We also have high risk in our home so keeping them with us is safest at this time. Wish we werent in these times but blessed to be able to make decisions without restrictions.

We homeschool our two youngest kids. One is a junior in high school and the other is a sophomore in high school. For the last 3 years we’ve used Sonlight for our homeschool curriculum. It is a great program.

Here in NC, we had the same options that y'all did! I was back and forth but we sat down and gave our girls their options and they are choosing to stay at home for virtual learning! We are praying things will be better and they can return back after the first of the year🙏🏻

Our district just decided on yesterday, the 6th that all students will do virtual learning through December for now. School was to start on Monday the 17th and has now been pushed back to the 26th. Luckily I just got approval to work from home. I’ll be home to assist as much as I can. My husband works nights so having one of us available to help out I think will help. My son is in 8th grade and my daughter is in 6th grade.

Small house here 3bed 2 bath. I clean my whole house once a week on Saturday. Usually takes two hours. That’s the really deep clean (I.e furniture polish, dusting fans, tub scrubbing -all the stuff) Monday-Friday I do just the main “common areas” including using a lighter vacuum and swiffering and quick wipe down of bathrooms; takes only about 30-45 minutes. Sunday is reserved for laundry. And then once a month (on first Saturday) I’ll rotate out less frequently needed chores. For example, last month was cleaning under/behind furniture in living room, this month was cleaning all the glass light fixtures, next month is cleaning behind the stove and fridge. It works for me. But I can imagine that of I had a house that was closer in size to yours, I would do it the same way you do 😂

My 4 kids went back to school last Thursday July 30TH.. they are not required to wear mask.. I did send mask with my kids though, so far it’s going great and my kids are so happy to be back! They wake up every morning ready to go back. 😊

I usually do laundry all week long so that it doesn't pile up. But I'm totally guilty of letting clean laundry sit in the baskets for like a week 🤷🏼‍♀️ and omg that porch! I am so in love! I love the furniture! I am totally obsessed 😍 we are also sending our daughter to school. Shes going into kindergarten this year and she is a personality that needs to be around other people, she needs the socialization. Our district is small and we feel comfortable sending her.
