My boss has one of these and he is pushing 400 hp now with his. He tuned and put a bigger turbo on it and did other things to it. It also throws flames too. Fun car to drive.

Great video, Micah! One small nitpick, the Keyless-Go (Mercedes's keyless entry) was actually not available on any 2020 CLA250. It was standard on almost every other US market C Class+ car, and available as a $550 standalone option or through the Premium Package on the stable mates, the A Class and GLB, and it was standard on the CLA35 and 45 (will no longer be standard on the 35 for '21). HOWEVER, from what I understand, Mercedes was short on supply for the door handles with the sensors, and decided the CLA was the best model to not offer it on. So no matter what you paid, you could not get keyless go (aside from maybe special ordering). For '21, the clA250 offers it as a standalone package, P17, that's $800 and includes power fold mirrors and a kick to open trunk, but it has limited availability. It seems just under 50% of CLA's being built have it.

I been leasing the CLA since 2014 and I really like them. each time the step up the ride and features. I'm currently leasing a mercedes A220 in patagonia red. Love it but I guess Mercedes is discontinuing the model. For my next renewal I'm looking at the CLA in 'Sun yellow'. At first I thought it was too bold a color. But it's growing on me. It's probably not for everyone. I thought the patagonia red was too wild for me at first too. Lol. But now I'm bored and want to experiment with a different color. I want the attention and I'm sure it's safer driving on the streets as they can see you coming a mile away in this color. Lol.

You are absolutely right! I drove a Mustang GT convertible in 2017 during my vacation in Miami Beach. When I saw the CLA Coupé for the first time I had the same thougt. And I don't think it is a coincident. The US market is very important for Mercedes. I have a CLA Coupé myself and I like it very much.

Two things that I would not pay for on this otherwise decent car...fake exhaust ports and body coloured 'bumperettes' on either side of the license plate. For about $36,000US/$48,000CDN I would seriously consider a 2020 Kia Stinger GT-Line with the base 2.0L turbo engine. Comparatively it has 255hp and 260 lb-ft of torque (vs. 221/258 in the CLA), more overall interior and trunk space space, a real quad exhaust and a silky smooth automatic transmission. Just my .02...

Love these family reviews! The sabatoge armrest is a very real thing. $54k is insane for this fwd based stick of butter. The rear end styling is quite...different. Just not attractive in my eyes. I would see how much C Class I could get for $54k.

So my 2020 F150 has more 325HP twin turbo, dual port injection, variable cam shift, 4 values per cyindears and 10 speed transmission and will more than blow away the MB in the quarter mile. $39k.... dual cab.. etc. Etc.

The price on this is... nuts! To put it in perspective, you can get a fully options A4, 330i or even a C Class for the same amount. If you go for the same size a well options M135 is about the same. Crazy!

My wife has a CLA , I dont like it, its too low and hard to get in and out since Im 6'3" front I dont even try the back , the automatic shut off is annoying in stop and go traffic. The dealership is amazing free coffee and car washes. When our lease is up we wont renew. Also something lame MB wont call the USA version "Gunmetal Grey" like the entire world, they call it " Mountain Grey" do they think the name will 'TRIGGER' people.
