2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo: Review

👋 Taking a first look at the all new, fully electric 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo!! In today's video we take a full look at the first fully electric Porsche, the Taycan Turbo! This looks very similar to the Panamera, even though it is a completely different car. It has a new headlight design compared to previous Porsche models, with the 4 separate headlights within the housing, and they are set back, giving it a very unique look along with making the fenders bulge to make them aggressive looking as well. The exterior is sleek and simple, but carries a great design thought the entire car. Coming around the back, I like the new badges that look like they are behind glass, it's a very cool badge and you don't have to worry about it fading or trying to clean around it which is a plus.
The interior has a 16'' gauge screen that curves and is very visibly from the driver seat. I like that there is multiple information on each part of the screen and with one button you can easily go between each one for what you are looking to do. The buttons on the edges of the screen are very cool as well and in similar places to a normal vehicle so they don't seem out of place if that makes sense. The two center screens have a lot to offer as well and very easy to go through. There is plenty of storage space up front along with in the back seats, and with the 4 seat configuration, gives each person plenty of space. The trunk has a good amount of room and there is even storage up front in the "Fronk" as well, so they did a great job positioning the batteries to allow for that extra storage.

I'm very close to trading in my Macan Turbo for this car. Already did the whole configurator dance and added way too many options. On the fence about the space & wondering about waiting for the Cross Turismo/Sport Turismo. But this design is SO sexy I might just deal with the reduction in practicality.

This is an absolutely beautiful car and I am a Porsche guy through-and-through. However, I don't think I'm totally sold on the electric idea. I would spend the extra $20,000 and buy the GT3 RS. Very cool review! I can't wait to see the test drive! Thanks Mike! @8gojunior

Honestly I really like the Panamera...it was the first (that I know of lol) 4 door Porsche. But this thing looks bad ass and its electric. I've seen another video where it was torture tested with how many times it can be launched from a standstill before it gets hot

“Turbo S”... which is now a trim level, lol! It’s an amazing vehicle, but Porsche should have just used the Base, S, GT and GTS designations. Calling something a “Turbo” model when it doesn’t have a turbo (or even a conventional engine) is just odd.

After you shell out a freaking fortune, ( the price of three fully equipped Tesla M3P’s) you then must fear parking it in your garage or taking it on an extended trip. The interface is dated, spread out and way too complicated for easy trouble free operation while driving, Porsche must then rely on someone else’s charging grid (probably Tesla’s) and saddest of all, its inefficient as hell... and you know what inefficiency translates into?... poor engineering. Bottom line, this Gaycan (with an ICE Turbo in its name... lol) is mostly eye candy ... and a mighty expensive one with a measly 200 mile range... just like a golf kart!.. Nice try, very limited market...No thanks, I’ll pass Bros. (I’ve owned Porsches all my life.)

I have cerebral palsy I use a walker and wheelchair, I’m going to a Special program that teach people with disabilities how to drive in one month pray that I pass all of the tests I’m excited and Nervous!
