Good review, very detailed. Just saw a 22 in person. It is a very attractive car. My look in to further.

Steven, thanks, very thorough review. Was wondering if you found the interior to be noisy. Consumer Reports made a big issue of the road noise.

Thanks for watching Fred! The cabin definitely wast the quietest car out there, but I don’t think I ever felt like the road noise was bad. A lot of that depends on the tires, so maybe consumer reports had a different trim?

Ok, I just test drove those .. super nice. The issue: rear passenger room. Disappointed is an understatement. This is really for 2 people if you're 5'10 or taller. Back seats are for small children or adults that are short. I really wanted to buy it but couldnt

Very extensive review love it you went over everything! A-Spec is nice however I’m going for the big one, gonna pick up the Type-S this spring 🔥

Thanks, appreciate you watching! That’s awesome, I expect the Type S to be fantastic!

How did that go with getting an S? Were you lucky enough to find one?
@marco305992 жыл бұрын
@@drivecfl yes and no.... yes I found one but no cause it hasn't been built and Acura apparently are delaying TLX Type-S production in order to push more MDX and MDX Type-S cars out the factory so I won't be able to get it until Late summer atleast thats what my dealer told me. this Supply shortage definitely has been wild

@@marco30599 ah ok. I think I'm going with an A-spec. There's too much uncertainty with the type S with when it will be available again and it's going to still be tough to get.
@marco305992 жыл бұрын
@@drivecfl I would get the A-Spec but I would regret not getting a V6 so if wasn’t going for a Type-S, I’d get an A-Spec but it would have to be a 2018-2020 TLX with the V6 and AWD

The comment about the center console looking a little cluttered is interesting. When you look towards the lower portion of the center stack there is nothing on either side where the gloss black is so it's rather open. Go up a bit you have the gear selectors in the middle and then just above from that you just have your standard controls for climate control. It may be more of an illusion of it looking more full than it is, which that would be perception and could be thought of by many people the same way. After driving the car for a few weeks it really is nothing just as such as the lack of touch screen debate. That has to be the most beaten dead horse of this car without having a touch display. 😂 Most reviewers are only in the car for a day to several days and they probably don't drive it enough to get used to it and really it's not even a matter of getting used to it for very long. It's pretty easy to use If someone has used a computer before.
